Very bad experience. Ordered appetizer as my dinner with a side salad; received an entree salad. Apparently they wanted to... ensure the charge was the same as their dinner price. Plates were not removed after we finished. And it seems that plasticservice plates are alright for their patrons, as my husband's side salad was served in a plastic bowl. Very disappointed. Read more

Great food, but the bar staff were what left a lasting impression on our group. They were welcoming, kind, and gave great... suggestions like making sure we tried the onion rings before we left town (we're glad they did!). Unfortunately we only got tovisit Clarinda for a short time as we were there on business, but on the Bright side we had such a great experience that wemight have to trek back from Minnesota some day to have one more Chambord and Sprite on the patio as the Fireflies come out. This is really a wonderful place to eat at! The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 for service is because as with... everyplace (especially foodservice oriented) they seem to be short handed, especially on busy nights. They do strive to give100% effort though, and usually do a great job of it. Read more

Nice restaurant! Onion rings are the best anywhere. Very traditional nice steakhouse menu.
