I was absolutely appalled at how I was treated here. I order my sandwich and requested additional meat and paid for said meat.... Arthur who was making my sandwich not only put one slice of meat but he also did not put any lettuce or oil and vinegar and whenI asked him about it he told me he will do as he pleases and laughed me off. As a girl from Point Pleasant, I have always taken great pride in having Jersey Mike?s come from my hometown. Although I don?t... live in the area anymore, I went back to visit, family and friends, and was so excited to get my six of jersey Mike?s. Uponvisiting this location I had one of the worst experiences I?ve ever had at any location. Your employee Arthur was the personhelping me and he was extremely rude while I tried to make small talk. When I finally got my sub, after repeating the ordermultiple times to Arthur it seems like there was barely any meat on the sandwich certainly will not be returning to this my stayin the area and will not recommend to anybody. Went in to grab a sandwich during my work break to grab a sandwich. The 20-something year old kid who made my food was extremely... rude, got my order wrong, and skimped out on the meat in my sandwich. I can usually excuse a missed ingredient but it reallyfeels like he did not listen to my order. I like Jersey Mike's but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Read more

All of the complaints I read definitely revolve around one employee and I echo the same sentiment. His name is Arthur and he?s... consistently rude, cannot remember your order, and will always short you on the meat. The other staff and manager; greatreasonable people. I spoke to manager and he did his best to assure me that said employee is going to be moved but unfortunatelyI really can?t go back until he?s removed. The staff is great and they keep the area clean. But they skimp so hard on the meat. Usually Jersey Mikes is known for their... hearty sandwiches that make your money worth while, especially since they?re one of the most expensive takeout sub franchises. Ican?t justify more than two stars when every time I think of going to the Clark location, I back out for anywhere else that?llserve me what doesn?t look like a flat tire. I keep reading previous reviews about an employee named Arthur. I don?t know if this is the one who caused my panic attack but... the 20ish year old near the cash register with short red hair was very rude and literally turned his back on me midconversation. I have severe anxiety and depression and all I wanted was to order 2 subs. Never been to jersey mikes before so Iwas confused about sizing so I nicely asked what size is a mini and he points to the picture instead of showing me a real lifeexample. Then while I?m about to ask what the regular size is like he turned his back on me and I ask the girl next to himwrapping the subs. She answered and while I?m waiting to place my order I notice 2-4 people get rung up ahead of me and got veryconfused ? I thought I could order at the register. But instead of kindly informing me that I had to wait by the display casesto place my order & that I could only pay at register after I ordered they let me wait there like I had all the time in theworld. Only after I said something about why they kept taking people ahead of me they told me I had to wait in line. This beingsaid the 1pm manager quickly came to save the day. He listened to my complaints and helped calm my anxiety attack. By the time Iwent to pay they had comped my order due to the stress I was put under by the employee at the register. I had even asked are yousure? i have no issues paying. He said it?s their pleasure. I was beyond thankful for him. End of story. The managers theredefinitely deserve a raise! He handled it with poise and kindness, but with that being said- please fire the rude employee withthe curly red hair who clearly doesn?t want to work there anyways.
