Extremely poor service and poorly made sushi. We came in with an hour to spare, but were rushed through our entire meal. The... waitress was rude and wouldn?t let me look at the bill. Incredibly interesting establishment. A quarter turn past the doorway, you?re greeted by an ephemeral sign, with permanent... instructions for dining in and life outside: ?Stay off your phone, if possible; Embrace others.? Some don?t make it past thispoint, I suppose?a shame? Another turn and the entirety of the restaurant is in full view, an impressive scene to say toolittle. Clean and contemporary, plenty of seating and space, decorations reflecting ubiquitous personality. Each employee iskind and patient as the next, exemplar. Ordered Crispy Pork Gyoza, Haru Maki, Atlantic Roll. Flavors are fresh, delicate,layered. Everything makes sense here. Gari tastes house made. They have wasabi tobiko, red tobiko, ikura and masago. They haveking crab, softshell crab, and crab stick. All the offerings from urchin to eel and everything in between. This place gets aneasy A+ and now that I know how fresh everything is I will be returning to try more special rolls/sashimi, noodle soups, and thecountless other offerings I could not help but be overwhelmed by; The menu leaves an impression only outdone by the fine peoplerunning the restaurant. I am no picky customer, but it is not okay when you asked for no certain ingredient - a request was clearly shown on the receipt... - but the food still ended up full of it. No matter how good the service is, this is just ignorant and unprofessional of thekitchen in the back. Read more
Every time we visit Clark's Summit, Atami Sushi is on our lunch list. Simple storefront in a strip mall with great food, great... prices. Bento boxes (tempura, teriyaki) and rolls are great... And the waitperson bringing an edamame amuse bouche started everymeal with a smile... Read more
Absolutely delicious food and very nice, personable staff. The restaurant is clean and inviting, and food comes out quickly. The... only potential knock on this spot is the parking lot situation, but there's ample space to keep your car away from theoccasional rogue shopping cart from the neighboring grocery store. If you want sushi or hibachi or a killer bento box, do notsleep on Atami -- it's a diamond in the area. Read more
Ordered the 'Crazy for Fish' boat w/ 66 pcs amongst a group of 6 friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the sushi; ingredients weren't... skimped & were fresh, high ingredient to rice ratio. There's also the complimentary edamame. The place is by no means large asthe layout allows you to see the entire seating area upon stepping through the door. The decor is forgettable (think typicalsushi restaurant). Sushi chef & wait staff are hospitable and service was fast & efficient. I am a repeat patron here, as aremy classmates & we recommend other ppl to come here. I insist giving Atami a try if you're looking for a pleasant atmospherethat serves beer & good sushi. Read more
Went with my husband and friend to Atomi to try them out. Got a recommendation from a nice girl at the Spa down the road. Loved... the sushi! It was fresh, very tasty and quickly prepared. It cost less then we thought. You pay for good sushi and their pricesaren't bad. It's nice to find a gem like this in a sea of normal restaurants. We got the cooked sushi plater, smaller plate fromthe top is the Lava roll, Mars roll, and Pink Lady roll. Read more
I had the spicy scallop and king crab rolls. Everything was fresh and the flavors went together well very good fresh sushi.
