Went to Georgian Hills today for the first time after passing it for years. Although there were some some negatives, still... giving the experience 4 stars as we attribute most of this to the venue being understaffed. We had the rose, a white (can'tremember the name) and Big John cider. We were very pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the wine. The venue is beautifulas well. However, all three of us ordered sandwiches - one pulled pork and two falafel. A big group ordered just after us whichapparently caused a big stress with the panini press in the kitchen. The pulled pork arrived a good 15 minutes ahead of theother two and when the falafels did arrive, they looked like they had been in the panini press for about 3 seconds. The falafelsandwich was fine but lacked anything special - the best part about it was the Thornbury Bakery buns (10/10). The side ofcoleslaw was also fine but could have been more flavourful. Our server was very friendly and did a great job trying to keep upwith the busyness given they were short staffed. Will go back given we enjoyed the wine and the setting is gorgeous but willdefinitely skip the lunch. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Suggest making a reservation, especially on the weekend. Our party of 4 was welcomed without reservation on a Monday afternoon in July. Seated on the patio overlooking the vineyard and... the field of canola... gorgeous. The wines were great, and the food as well! Great friendly service. Highly recommended! Read more

We came here a few years ago on a weekend in peak summer. We got a tour of the vineyard, learned a few interesting things about... the region and the grapes there. We also got to sample a few wines with some cheese. It was quite busy when we went, I wouldrecommend going during the less busier times to enjoy the outdoor patio and beautiful views of the vineyard! I often visit here to grab some iced wine or one of their red pepper or curry jams. The pear iced wine is the best but they have... been out of it for some time. They offer taster sessions, I?ve tried this b4 and they are pretty good. This is a good stop forany tourist in the area. Read more

Small but charming winery. I enjoyed that even during these new restrictions, they were able to offer us a nice tasting outside,... followed by charcuterie plate and drinks by the fire. Staff are very friendly and pleasant. Read more
