We have loved Long John Silvers for years. Went in yesterday and it was awful. Let me preface by saying, the manager was... great. She was very nice and cordial but the staff.... oh my goodness!! We had to go up 4 separate times bc they never gave usplastic ware, napkins, tartar sauce or vinegar. You would have thought by the way they acted I was asking for somethingmajor.. One time, I stood there while 3 employees talked amongst themselves. All 3 looked at me and knew I was waiting forhelp, yet thry didn't care. I'm assuming this was another manager, who saw me and he asked for someone to please wait on me. Sad, that it took instruction from a manager for an employee to be courteous. they always have good food, and the interior is very clean and nice-- even the restrooms. cool in the summer and warm in the... winter, so you're always comfortable. plus, they have the best cheese curds in the county. wait times are a little long, butthere's not a lot of employees and you always see them working really hard. and the wait is worth it! Went to Long John's the fish was great,all employees were so friendly and welcoming.You need to spruce up the outside some,while... driving by you can't tell if your open or not,we just took a chance and glad we did...After the downtown location closed theyquit putting coupons in the paper,consider bringing those back.Thank you.
