They change the rules all the time. Today none of the combo meals come with a drink. When I told them I always get a drink with... my combo, the rude 20something informed me that the menu had changed. Rude a wrong! Stay away from this place. The food had tobe thrown away it was so bad. They were in a hurry and did not cook the fish long enough. It even had a bit of raw batter on theinside. Done with them until new management. Read more

I like it. Very good dinner crew. I have observed them many times, cleaning the dining room. (Score!) The restroom is usually... stocked. The dining room is exactly as it was, when I was a kid! And, I still love their crumbs. Sweet tea could be a littlesweeter, but I still drink it. High fives all around. Read more

There are not many quick take-out restaurants in this area. LS has a long time standing in this immediate area so, yes it's... good. Usually crowded at lunch time so leave or place a to go order early at peak times. The menu has a lot of items I'venever tried so can't comment on those. Fish is good albeit a little on the heavy breaded side. Can't complain though, portionsare large and feeds a lot of people for less than more expensive restaurants. Read more

There have been a lot of mixed reviews recently for this restaurant, so I thought I would add my most recent experience to the... mix for those who are considering it. I visited on Sunday August 7th 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m. I ordered a two-piece fishdinner, added a piece of fish and two more hush puppies. The service was good and the fish was delicious as were the fries,coleslaw and hush puppies. The only possible negative I could offer is that it's relatively expensive, but everything is now. Horrible experience. I am a cna and I always go here on lunch break. And also to get food for residents if ask for. I went thur... the drive thur of this location Saturday July 29, to order for my husband on lunch break. I asked the lady what meal would bethe right one to order for fish and chicken. She tells me she has one with one side and a drink. I tell her that?s fine andsweet tea is fine. I then say I would like the meal to come with cole slaw and fries and if not I will pay extra to add it onthe side. She says she has a meal that doesn?t come with a drink but has two side. I told her the drink was not needed (sweettea) and that I would like that meal instead. She tell me the total would be $18?.. I was thrown back by the price yet knew shehad both meals on the order. When trying to tell her I only wanted the #7 meal she became irritate telling me well that?s what Ijust ordered and she doesn?t have to serve me with a bad attitude. I was so confused on how me telling her I only needed the #7was rude and that I was the customer and I should be told I order wrong. Thinking she was a the other somewhat nice lady whomworks there that is more better at handling things I went inside to speak to the manager. Well behold sue was the manager andonce again tells me that I wasn?t right to correct her when she was trying to speak and that I was completely being rude aboutcorrectly her and I would get the police called if I don?t leave. Now me knowing the police have why more to worry about then menot getting food or what have you I told her that was out of line and I?ll wait outside for them to come to explain my self.Well she called them they came. Went here to get some of the familiar greasy fish after a couple years without. Only drive thru available, I ordered a 3 chicken... 2 fish meal. The fries and hush puppies were way overdone. The green beans were good. Fish was okay, but not like I remembered.The chicken was off, and one of them was obviously undercooked...ugh gross. Price for the quality of the food is way out ofkilter.
