Golly Gs has more than ice cream, they're grilled cheese sandwiches and bar pretzels make for a yummy midday snack. Everyone has... always been so friendly to the point where my oldest thinks they're all his friends when he goes. They also have a drive throughthat doesn't make your wait any shorter but it's nice for when I have two napping babies in the car. They have a giganticcinnamon bun that is delicious and perfect for sharing, they have several choices for baked goods. Including a couple of Ketofriendly options. They also serve pretty good coffee and they're espresso drinks are perfect in my opinion. Oh, the ice cream isdefinitely worth the visit as well. This was our first visit to Golly G?s and it was delicious! The girls were very pleasant and helped us with our selections. The... pecan sticky bun was to die for, and the banana nut muffin was very tasty as well. We also got a coffee fudge milkshake and acaramel latte, and they did not disappoint either. I give it a 4 star for the ice cream, a 5 for the sticky buns (so good), but a 1 for consistency. You can get a single scoop... that fills to the top on one visit, then get a double scoop that doesn?t even go over to the top of a small cup. I have evengotten a single scoop that was bigger than a double scoop on multiple occasions. This is two double scoops. Our kids scoopswere bigger than this. Read more

In the... pictures I just got home and had 2 bites before deciding to send you pictures. I quit coming for a long time, but thought Iwould try again. Golly G?s came to Waverly today. If you have been watching the news than you understand Waverly TN is in the process of... overcoming one of its most tremendous devastations. We experienced a flood on Saturday that moved homes off their foundation.Some were moved 50-100 yards from their original locations. Businesses were destroyed. Life?s were lost. People are missing. Theonly redeeming thing about this entire catastrophe is the unification and response of the community to help those affected.Golly G?s was part of that response. They passed through town offering their delicious treats to any worker, victim, orvolunteer. FOR FREE! Even though we tried, the refused to take any money, whatsoever. Y?all, they don?t even live in this city.They came and helped people that they won?t see everyday. People that don?t live in their city, and aren?t their commoncustomers. They drove a long distance, donating their product, their fuel, their time, and their hearts, for a community thatthey owed nothing to. That?s character. Even if their food was horrible, I?d spend money here before spending it at ANY otherestablishment. However the quality of their ice cream matched the quality of their hearts. It was beyond delicious, and veryneeded. I was honored to meet these people, and I was blessed in more ways than free ice cream.
