I got the Taco Bueno. I always eat mine that way when I make them at home, but I use a hard shell, put my refried beads on the... soft shell and wrap the soft shell around the hard shell. I didn't realize though, probably me not paying attention that theyused only soft shells. They warned us in advance that they were out of lettuce which was fine with me...they put a little, not alot, just enough to "kinda say they're sorry" extra of everything else in to make up for it. We went after lunch and before dinner so we were the only people there, the lobby was clean, the service was fast and the kids were friendly. It's too bad thatso many adults never had a first job, they all started out experienced and perfect. Think back to whe you were 15, 16! Peopleshould think...we're all much nicer when we're treated like humans. I really hope that many leaving reviews are not superiors,if so they have a lot of unhappy employees, even if they think they don't. Read more

Both drive through employee and inside employees messed this up so bad its hard to figure out especially since I wad the only... one there. He put in side of tomatoes when I asked for ketchup. Then at pickup window I got a taco with no lettuce and mycheese quesadilla had chicken and a sauce that drenched the whole thing. Very little cheese. The only redeeming thing about thiswas the potatoes and I had to park to go inside to get ketchup. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the other items how they aresupposed to be made and they were not good. It all went into the trash after 1 bite. Won't be back. Read more

As a previous customer of the old Taco John's here in town years ago, I was excited to see their return and eager to try their... offerings at the new location. I know how hectic things can be at a new restaurant, so I cave them a couple of weeks to get thekinks out before I went in. My first impression was that they were all still pretty unorganized and not particularly wellmanaged. I ordered some food to go and after some time I left with my two meals. When I got home and got ready to eat Idiscovered that my order was not complete and some items were not what I ordered. It wasn't worth a trip back, but it was wortha phone call. The manager apologized and told me to come in and use his name for a free meal. It was a nice gesture, but Idecided just to give them another chance. Went back tonight and went through the drive thru. Not impressed. The server much lessthan enthusiastic and gave me the impression that my order of a #2 with a Dr. Pepper was quite a burden. I got to the window andpaid with a $20. The manager had to come and unlock the drawer for the server in order to get my change. The food was cold, thepotatoes were not recently made and were cold and extra crunchy. I really want to like this place, but they need to make somechanges in my opinion. Read more

I?m kinda shocked at the reviews. I went here yesterday very hesitantly after reading the reviews. I ordered two different... breakfast burritos with steak. I ate one then and my son ate the other one about two hours later. I loved it. It was great. Hot,filling and not poorly put together like other reviews have stated. My son told me later that he rated his an 8/10 - better thana place with arches and better than another place that you drive up to. The service was good, fast, and friendly. I?ll begoing back for these tasty burritos. UPDATE: I returned on August 20th, 2022 and received similarly outstanding service and thefood was great!! Read more

My family and I have been chasing Taco John's ever since the original Clarksville restaurant closed back in the late '90s. We've... been to most of their locations in Kentucky and the short lived locations in Nashville. It's never been perfect, but the TacoJohn's formula and taste seems to have stood the test of time. I've been here twice so far for lunch and both times the food hasbeen good and fresh. The poor kids working here are kind of airheads and a little goofy, but they seem to be putting in theirbest effort. I would plan on bringing a little patience along with your appetite, because the place is busy during rush hours, and they are still mastering ordering and prep. Read more

The staff isn?t really that friendly for being a new restaurant in town. As a 1st time customer not knowing what to order. The... staff isn?t that helpful in answering questions or helping with menu selections. After I picked a couple of items. The food isbetter than that other Mexican chain. Definitely will come back to try again. Read more

Was forgiving of the long line because it's new and people want to try it (like me). However, the wait and price was not worth... the cold, sloppy tacos I received. The tacos were smashed together in the wrapper and cold to the touch. Yes even the aluminumfoil was cold! The tortillas were mushy and it wasn't just because of the sauce. The potatoes were stale and cold. On top of allof that had missing food! Best part of the whole order was the Pepsi which I drank while I waited for my food. Not again! Thanksbut no thanks! Went for the 1st and last time today! As soon as we walked in we noticed that the lobby was dirty and not 1 clean table in sight... and there were only 1 table being utilized. crumbs all over the floor. My husband had to wipe our table. They had 3 workerssitting on stools in the lobby (maybe they were off or waiting on their shift to start). Nothing was stocked up in the lobbysuch as napkins and sauces. The food was edible, but not good. Our cheese sauce and chips were cold and stale. The burrito isdefinitely not as pictured. The chicken tender taco was hard and dry. A waste of $27.00 and definitely will not return?? Read more
