For the price the food was subpar. Not that I expected anything great from a diner like this. Coffee was great, toast barely... toasted, hash browns barely cooked but all was fine until the end of the meal when I was trying to tip my waitress some cash andshe told me to pay at the register. I told her I was trying to tip her. So I went to the register to pay. And put zero tip on mycard. I had no problem paying at the register but she had to announce that I did. She did not get a tip. Learn to accept tips askindness and not expected. I just wanted to relax and enjoy some quiet space and y'all were loud and rowdy even as I told youI'd be there a while. $20 for egg, bacon, coffee and half cooked hash browns. Too much. Read more
Came here because it was 845 at night. We had just gotten into town, and it was close to our hotel. Super friendly banter going... on between employees and (most likely) regular customers. Fast service and food. You simply cannot go wrong with their cheesyeggs and grits. Read more
Portions are so small, and prices are so expensive now compared to what they used to be. Plus the food is not that good. It's... $10 or more for just about anything, and you barely get much. I used to love their pecan waffles, and now the waffles are soflat, it's like your eating a cookie, and there's barely any pecans. I'd rather go to a regular breakfast place and pay $12-$15and get better quality food and much bigger portions. Plus it's always dirty and greasy, and smells gross. Easily one of the best Waffle Houses I've ever been to. Despite being rather busy, staff was attentive and quick to get my order... in and put food down in front of me. Everyone was super nice, and my steak and eggs were excellent. Read more
The 1 and only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 5 is because not only can a person not order food online, they will not... take an order by phone. You must come in person pay for the meal when you order it then they make it. I would stop by almostevery morning and spend 10-15 dollars if I didn't have to wait for it to be cooked. I am even willing to pay over the phone. But I don't have time for all that either on my way to work nor my lunch break while I'm on the night shift. How many peopleare ordering food then not going to get it at 5am? I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Other than this insanity staff isgreat food is usually cooked as I ordered. Read more
We were literally still exiting our vehicle when we got not one, but two, over the top friendly greetings welcoming us in. It... made the smiles never leave our faces.
