My wife and I ate here last week and saw a roach running on the countertop by the cash register. We will not be returning to... this Waffle House location. This has been reported to the health department. Roaches have been here for years according to pastreviews. I hope this restaurant gets shut down for long enough to eradicate the roach infestation. We saw the roach after we atethe food, so there wasn't much we could do about it afterwards. The food tasted good and was cooked at a very high temperature.We did not have any health side effects from eating the food. Read more
Do NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I came to this location because it?s fairly close to my home as I live in Oak Grove , but lately... service has been terrible, the waits are long your food is either under cooked or over cooked . This visit I ordered a cheesesteak omelette with cover hash browns , I got this , and ofc they forgot the toast & they don?t ever answer the phones so forgetspeaking to someone after you leave . Tried to call a to-go order in. A female worker picked up 3 different times but never said anything, all I could hear was a... conversation she was having about her cooks. She then said ?oh I?m not answering because they keep letting it ring once andhanging up.? After that, it would just ring until the automated message picks up. It sounds like someone should be educated howto use the phone because she, indeed, was answering. Awesome customer service ???? Read more
Went in around 8am on weekday. Staff greeted us and we seated ourselves. Hostess delivered our silverware and took our drink... order right away. We immediately noticed the air conditioning was going and it was very cold. We had dressed for a warm day andhad left our jackets in the car. Our server took our order right away. Was going back to car for jackets when our serverbrought everthing except the waffles, bacon and sausage. Those followed about 3 minutes later. Everything was hot and tasty. Only complaint was the waffle was overcooked and hard. (I noticed that while we were waiting for our order the cook had openedthe waffle maker and was trying to pry off the top and bottom of the waffle without tearing it. Once he got it off he patted itdown onto the other part of the waffle. He had gloves on otherwise we would have refused them. As we left I noticed othercustomer's waffles were also hard and overcooked. We have been to several of the Waffle Houses in the area and have not beenserved one like this. I order a T-bone steak with my hash browns suppose to have chili cheese and onions on it. I was given this. Calling them to... let them know, now they are not picking up the phone after calling four times. I?m very disappointed. Please check your orderspeople. I didn?t cause as soon as I said my name, she new who I was and supposedly knew that was my food with the friendlyattitude. My mistake. Now I?m driving back in the rain to get my correct order.
