I love love love this place. My daughter and I came in this morning after her dentist appointment and ordered some lunch. While... I was ordering, she let go of her balloon and it popped, she was super sad but oh well. We finished paying and went to thechairs to wait. The lady who took the order came walking up five minutes later with our food and a new balloon (dentist is nextdoor). Had to be the sweetest gesture ever for her to run next door to get this little two year old a balloon! So five stars onthe service alone. Always had a good experience there. Now the food?I?m from San Diego so I know my west coast Mexican food. Ican?t tell you how relieved I was when we found this place because it is HARD finding a good Mexican restaurant in Tennessee!The carne asada fries and California burritos are just like home <3 Read more

To start, the taco whether it be soft or crunchy is amazing as it should be it?s in the name , However after day 2 I decided to... give 3 stars because the burrito was horrible and old tortilla was cracking as well. The horchata is brown and nasty. The otherdrink tubs are not filled with what they say they are. The tea was very good not too sweet not too strong. The tacos areprobably the best I?ve ever had and the salsa has 4 open bar to choose from and is fresh. The tacos are fairly priced due toinflation but most other items are very expensive. They do have some military options and discounts so that?s a huge plus, butthey TAKE ALL THAT BACK AND MORE WITH ALMOST A 3-4% Card fee. They also make the big bucks by the add ins you want, for exampleyou don?t want a plain taco so you add sour cream BOOM that?s 60 cents off the rip then you want others it adds up quick. Thebanana cheesecake slice was old and nasty the banana was dried out to be hard. No expiration dates. The space in the building isgood it?s not too close to each other. The reason this has 3 stars instead of 2 is because the tacos and fresh drinks and tacosas well as the salsa. THE WORKER PUT THE FOOD THAT WAS GOING TO THE BACK ROOM ON THE TRASH CAN AND THEN SERVED IT??????????????????????? that?s not okay to do. The place is pretty clean other than that though. Some language barriers fortrying to get your food may be an issue especially if you want a cup from the other side of the counter you need to point andjust say ?cup cup cup? I understand this though so I recommend coming once as mistakes can be fixed and no business isperfect. I will update this if it gets better Read more

I'm critical and very picky. Not to mention being pregnant has made me overtly cautious with my nose of all the foods I used to... love. I have lived in California and must say these are legit the closest authentic tacos to the ones in California that I havehad here - near base. Their name does justice to the place and If your passing by stop on in! Not only was customer servicetaken seriously by the man at the counter tonight (English speaking fellow), but the workers take your orders seriously, makethem correctly and with love. Shout out to the cooks seriously. I built my tacos from scratch as you are allowed to. I chose totry 4 of their CORN soft tacos with pulled pork (cooked all the way but not dry and the meat was flavorful) with freshcilantro, fresh cabbage, onions, cheese (wish they had white crumble cheese ????) with green salsa (good heat and flavor) andlimes .It sent me back to my best friends kitchen in California who made the best carnitas pulled pork tacos for me. When I saidI was from Kentucky and liked mexican food; She laughed and she made me REAL authentic mexican food- that her grandmothertaught her and honest to God it is hard finding anything similar out here. I think it always depends on the staff, the frontcounter man and the food they make is what really stood out to me with todays night shift. It wasn't super busy and this was myfirst time here. However, I highly highly recommend you give them a try. I wish they were more affordable but, for the place itsent me while eating it- I'd pay it again. I had to stop eating and immediately write a review. This place was also spotless andsmelled like lemons coming in -which I appreciated with how sensitive my pregnancy nose currently. Read more

I got the carne asada (steak) soft corn tortilla tacos in the original. Flavor of the meat is really good, and the combination... of the Cilantro and onions just adds to the flavor profile. The food was fresh, and hot and I have no complaints on the flavoror the quality of the food. Only issue I have, is we are in 2021 where EVERYONE uses a card, they charge like 3.5% extra if youuse a card. I get how all of that works, they have to pay a fee to be able to swipe cards, so they extend that on to thecustomer, however very few places actually pass it on to customers. All in all I give 4 stars because like I said, the food isgreat, but not a fan of the nickel and dime of the fees. I will probably be back here regardless. Read more

Wrong burrito. Ordered a veggie no sour cream. Even said veggie on the foil and the receipt. A couple bites in I realized it had... steak and sour cream. I haven't eaten meat in over 5 years. To have accidentally eaten some from a messed up order is reallyannoying. Never ordering here again. Read more

Loved it at 10am...not crowded. Free drink with meal for military, and the drinks were delicious and unique. I normally just... drink water because I don't like carbonated drinks, but they had horchata and delicious and fun melon flavored water. They alsoremembered to leave rice out of one of the west coast meals...AND labeled the plate so we would know which one was which. Read more
