We placed our order last night using their preferred online method. We ordered the clover 8 and a traditional round along with... some cheese bread. In the order structure you can select "extra sauce" and "well done" which I did. When I got home and openedthe first box the cheese was hardly melted and the dough was half cooked. Opened the traditional round and the crust was barelygolden in color. Our toppings tasted weird almost old. We came to this place off a referral telling us it was better thanBuddys.. after tasting this we were very disappointed and underwhelmed. This is regarding the Clover Leaf Pizza in Clawson (somehow this review chain still includes Andy's reviews). We ordered our... first pizza from Clover Leaf last night and I have to say we will definitely be GOING BACK. I have a Gluten allergy and ordereda square gluten free pizza. It was by far the best GF pizza I've ever had. And I've tried GF pizzas from a good 8-10 otherplaces in the area. I had to call the location back to verify that I had received a GF crust. It was thick and soft so I wasskeptical. But the manager (Austin) assured me that their gluten free crusts are very similar to their regular square pizzacrusts. It was delicious. We are spoiled here with so many FANTASTIC pizza options. Nevertheless we felt it was our duty to try the new Cloverleaf... location when it opened. It is definitely now part of our regular pizza rotation. We enjoyed both the pepperoni and the supremesquare pizzas and a clover bread. You know, to be thorough in our review. Everything was super delicious and the ingredientswere all fresh and tasty. The store looks great and the people working were very nice as well. Solid location, we'll definitelybe back! Read more
My son saw them advertised on a food show Chicago vs Detroit Pizza... he just had to try it! Great crust for a deep dish!... Toppings were fresh and delicious... especially the chicken! We tried this Cloverleaf location for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it! The pizza, bread, and salad were all great!... They did forget one of the ranch dressings that we ordered and the dressing for our salad, but mistakes happen. We will be back. Read more
I recently discovered Uncle Andy's Pizza. And I have to say I am a huge fan. Yesterday was my first time ordering from this... location. I love their New York lover's pizza. It's my favorite. Cloverleaf was my favorite pizza. However, the new Clawson location will rapidly run this pizza location into the ground if a... check isn't performed on quality. I gave this location 3 different tries for pizza and they were skimpy with the toppings andway overcooked the pizza. I rank Cloverleaf Pizza as one of the worst pizzas I've ever had.
