Had brunch here and it was just amazing. Their mimosas, Bellinis and Bloody Mary’s are top notch. The food and service are... both top notch. Be aware that portions are fairly huge, so just share a plate with a loved one unless you are really hungry. Artwork inside is really well done and adds to the ambience. Uhm... the experience was "okay," here. It was not spectacular. In the first place, our server, Jeremy, didn't really seem all... that interested to be serving us. And so I don't know if THAT was the issue, truly, or if he just didn't like his job. What Ican say is that he wasn't very friendly. That was quite surprising given the nature of his work. And not only was he notfriendly, but one of the managers, who did not wear a name tag, was also very unfriendly. In describing him, I would say he's ablondish or brownish-haired male, with a thin frame. When I asked if he was the manager, he explained that he was "one of them"but never gave his name or anything. When they brought our orders to us, they gave me the wrong food initially! If that wasn'tbad enough, when I told the manager, the blonde-haired guy I'm talking about, that the order was not correct but that it wasprobably for the table that was near ours, he seemed annoyed by this and asked what could he get me? It was annoying because Ididn't understand why he would be annoyed when I was not the one who got the order wrong. Additionally, that same table Ireferenced before? Yeah...they arrived at the restaurant at least 20 to 30 minutes after we did, yet they received their foodbefore us! I could not understand that at all. I was disappointed, overall, because the decor of the restaurant is stupendous! So, it's a very nice location, the outdoor seating is elegant, the interior design is elegant, and the mood and atmosphere arealso wonderful. The men's restroom left something to be desired. They could do better in their men's restroom. I expected morefrom a restaurant that gives the impression of being elegant and classy. The food was not great, either. I asked for a waffleand they brought me some kind of thick breading that was quite dry and lukewarm. Service was solid but food was highly disappointing. The poached eggs in the eggs benedict was way over cooked while the smoked... salmon tasted stale. If there’s one thing to eggs Benedict it’s the yolk and they failed to do it properly. Edit 3 dayslater - Herbies reached out due to this review and compensated us for the experience. Celebrated with my sister's this past Saturday. Food was okay. We had chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, Cheese Burger, and... someone tried the Hash. It was the brunch menu, no complaints except I like when the waiter doesn't completely disappear aftera good tip without at least picking up a few plates. Read more
This was my first time dining at Herbies, however, it won't be my last time. The restaurant was very.nice and cozy. They have... inside and outside dining. The restaurant was very clean and neat. The service was wonderful! I ordered pan seared salmon, fried Brussels sprouts, and Herbies chopped salad for dinner. Delicious ????! The salad is made with Napa cabbage instead oflettuce. ???? OMG! If you're a salad lover like myself please try it! They're not real expensive. I have added a few photos soyou can see for yourself! On Sunday, 11/28/21, my friends and I met at Herbies for Brunch, it was awesome! Two of my friendschose chicken and waffles for Brunch, meanwhile my other friend and myself ate steak, potatoes, and eggs. Yummy ????! Went for brunch and it was ok. I wish they had more on the drink menu and offered more than orange juice mimosas. The spiked... coffee tasted ok nothing to write home about. If you get French toast make sure you ask how it’s going to be prepared. We didnot know that the seasonal French toast was going to be sweet potato pie. It wasn’t nasty, actually very good, justunexpected. The chicken and waffles were ok…Nashville hot had no spice. Might as well stick to original. The only thing thatwas really disappointing was the eggs. Asked for scrambled with cheese and got an egg patty with an unmelted piece of cheeseslapped on the outside with no seasoning.
