The free breakfast buffet was good. They dangled bacon on the first day but only offered sausages the rest of our stay. Aside... from that, there was a pretty good variety of breakfast food to choose from. We never ate lunch or dinner there. Read more
When you consider the fact that this is essentially a hotel restaurant, it really exceeds your expectations. The food is... excellent and the staff is awesome. We visited a few times during our stay in the hotel, and we left pleased each time. Two ofour visits were for breakfast. The room comes with a complimentary buffet in the restaurant. They have eggs, pancakes, corn beefhash, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, and much much more. There is also a made to order omelet station. The server who took careof our table the first morning was very friendly and helpful. We also stopped in for dinner one night. My wife and kids split alarge pizza and I had a burger. It is a St. Louis style pizza, and being from northern Indiana, I couldn't tell you whether itwas a great one or not, but it tasted good to me. The burger was excellent and obviously made with fresh ground beef. We orderedpotato skins as an appetizer which were also delicious. Most of all, our server that night, Shawn, was incredible.
