Despite all the negative, came here for a quick meal while in the area. Most places seem to be closed for the season but they... are still open. Got the fried perch which was pretty decent. The slaw was a bit bland, just cabbage mixed with mayonnaise withlittle to no added seasoning or flavor. Wish there were more side options, or even options to upcharge to choose from besidesfries or chips. Server was wonderful, attentive and very friendly. Read more

We happened to come on a Sunday evening and it was packed. We were lucky to grab some bar seats and avoid the long wait. We were... lucky that the bartenders were wonderful and very attentive because about 5 mins after we ordered our food the power went out inthe whole area for the rest of the evening. We were very lucky because somehow our food still made it out and was pretty good. The prime rib was a big healthy portion and was cooked pretty close to medium rare. The scallops were a little chewy and didn?thave a char on them but they weren?t bad considering what just happened. At that point we were just happy to have food. Thebartenders let us enjoy our meal and took down our credit card for when the power went back on. They even texted us a copy ofthe receipt. We appreciated the hospitality while we were traveling. The Channelside is located on the river and offers inside and outside dinging areas. We started outside and moved indoors when... it began to pour which did not bother our server at all. My husband had the Marsala meatloaf dinner which he really liked. Itwas made with plenty of mushrooms and blue cheese. I had a basic burger with cheddar on a Brioche roll and side salad whichwere average. The best part of my meal was the chocolate peanut butter mousse cake I had for dessert. It was light anddelicious! Service was good. Read more

This place was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was on top of his game and made sure everyone had everything they needed. The... food was the best I have had in the thousand islands region and I have visited this area around 100 times plus. The view of theSt. Lawrence channel at sunset was breathtaking. No idea why this place has only 4.3 stars. Read more

Service was really good. The food not so much we eat here for dinner started off with the poutine The fries were cold gravy cold... and the curds that they were proud to be local were tasteless. The drink my wife ordered was the coconut colada she enjoyed itbut it had chunks of ice in it. One of the water glasses we were given have specks of white food all around it. Dinner came andmy wife ordered the Ceasar salad and grilled chicken the salad had no dressing and so much grated (not shredded) parm it wasvery dry. The chicken was burned it was not really edible. We told the server she brought more dressing but still charged forthe chicken the owner walked by but never asked how it was. I ordered the Channelside seafood Mac and cheese It said it camewith baby scallops and shrimp they served 4 baby scallops and 4 shrimp. The shrimp was drenched in dry seasonings and still hadtails that if I wasn't in Culinary it could have been mixed and a choking hazard. The pasta was cold so you can tell theyprepare their pasta or buy frozen and drop it per order the sauce was watery and the only Cajun thing in the dish was the moundof seasoning. Took cheesecake to go and it was good except there was peanut butter frosting on top. Not cool whip dairy whip orwhipped topping. Very sweet also makes no sense to have frosting. I'll be adding this to my review blog and I'll post a link toit for more reviews around upstate NY and the country. This meal cost us $91 dollars we won't be back. Read more

We had an awesome view outside, the hostess was so nice, she wanted to make sure we were comfortable outside, then the waiter... was great very nice he realized he messed up on dressing and came right back with the correct one. He made sure we like our foodcame back a few times thru out our meal then also asked us about desert. He recommended my daughter get all the sauces on theside when she asked for good she was happy he did that. Just all around awesome food, awesome service and an amazing view! Read more
