Things have changed since most of these reviews. No longer individual tables to sit at, you have to sit at the bar, and there is... no longer any service besides the bartender. While the food is good, prices are high, and since you can't sit at your own tableand have service, what's the point in going out to dinner? Read more
Excellent food and terrific bartender! We had been bike riding for the day and wanted a gormet meal since it was our anniversary... but nothing fancy. Escape on 2nd Avenue was the perfect spot. Got the jalapeno flatbread for an appetizer and it had the perfectamount of sweet and hot. The giant shrimp was succulent and tasty and the Porkys Revenge was fantastic. Will be back soon! Read more

Great place to Eat! Been there several times and the food is always good and service is great.
Perfect little side of the highway bar stopped in to use the restroom had a drink had a great conversation with the bartender... almost like family we'll stop by again next time I'm in the area thanks for such a chill time. Read more
