First off, the workers at this location were nice. I appreciate their politeness. Having said that, my quarter pounder with... bacon, had no bacon. The large fries were a lump of shoe string potatoes at the bottom of the container. The crispy chickensandwich was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting next to a fish sandwich awhile before I got it. I'm never going to getangry about fast food; life's too short for that... It's not often that I rave about a fast food place. The food is better than it should be, the service is lightening fast, and... the people are very friendly. I don't drive through as often as I used to but I will stop every time I do. Read more
Stopped for breakfast during a road trip from Minnesota on 8/31/22. They had the nicest and most helpful (and happy) employees.... Super clean place and the gal working the counter went above and beyond to help and welcome patrons. They all deserve raises. Read more

I usually always have a good experience at clear lake Iowa McDonald's. Everyone in a while they mess up but usually order is... accurate. And food is usually pretty good. I don't usually have issues with cold/old food at this location!! 3 starts if for thequality of this restaurant over all McDonald's I have been to! Not sure I could ever see a 5 star mcds. Read more
Lovely place, had help figuring out the ordering, since it was an electronic kiosk, a new thing for us. food was consistent... with McDonalds quality. Easy enough off and on Freeway, parking no problem... just a bit chilly, so hot coffee did the trick. Read more
I stop here periodically when on travel. This place is WAY nicer than it was a couple of years ago. Remodeled, and the staff... were very efficient during a busy lunch rush. Read more
