Spanky's is hands down my favorite place to get breakfast in clearfield. The food is pretty fast, the coffee is good and strong,... the service is great, and the dining area including the regular crowd is pleasant. The bathroom is a little unorthodox inconstruction but importantly it's clean and in order. The food is always delicious; I recommend either the sausage gravy onhomemade toast or the delmonico steak and eggs. It's always pretty busy but the food still comes quickly. This place is a little difficult to rate... here's why... from the outside it has that foodie type place appeal. When you walk... in still the same feel. The staff was super nice. The menu.. way too busy.. the breakfast I chose was the hash ,eggs andtoast.. the homemade toast was perfect! The eggs (scrambled).. they kinda sucked.. the corned beef was ok. First time I ate here even though I've passed this place time and time again. But finally had breakfast here and it was... delicious. I had 2 eggs, home fries and home made bread that they make toast with ????and a piece of of ham. The prices arereasonable and they just added on to the restaurant and they needed the extra space because it was packed and just about everytable and booth and around the counter were filled. The waitress was really good. She was so nice and got us everything weneeded and another waitress kept our drinks filled up. Read more
