If this is what the kids in Davis schools are eating, then they're lucky little buggers. When I was a kid (a long time ago)... school lunch was generally worthy of the derision and scorn heaped upon it. This was hot, tasty, and reasonably priced. I love that they do catering! We get air of our desserts there for family reunions or large gatherings. They make some amazing... peanut butter bars that our family absolutely love. Cafe Central has got to be one of my favorite places to visit so far! The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly,... and the work they do is incredible. Not only do they offer food out of their cafe they also offer catering and ship their bakedgoods to other school districts. They have outdoor seating and offer a weekly BBQ. Read more

Had a catered meal for 55 people that included sandwiches, fruit, vegetables and desserts. Very reasonable pricing, great... customer service and everyone loved the peanut butter bars. No pics because they were all eaten. It turned out so well I orderbrownies for two other events. Read more
