They make their own noodles! Keep reading to hear our story. Tonight was our first night ever ordering here and we were not... disappointed! I called them and asked several questions and they patiently answered each of them. I chose to order from theirwebsite, instead of a delivery service (rhymes with poor hash), because they were so great over the phone. I asked specificinstructions for 2/3 of our meals, and they got them all correct. Fast forward? they call me because they ran out of spaghettinoodles. They needed to make more noodles to fulfill our order (you read me right, they make their own noodles! I even asked, tobe sure!), so they called me to say they were going to be delayed 10-15 minutes. Of course, I was just fine with that! We getour food? it was perfect AND they even threw in free breadsticks, to ?apologize? for the delay. The food tastes great and wewill be ordering again! Great food! Since moving to Syracuse we've been looking for a good local pizza place. We've found it. Got a pepperoni pizza and... it was great, the marinara tasted amazing. The wife is from CT and it reminded her of a place from there, she loved it. This isour new pizza place. Read more
The new owner Maddie and her staff are amazing! They are incredibly attentive to my food allergies and always make me feel safe... and welcome. The food is amazing too! Places like this that put the extra effort in to make it a great experience are whatreally stand out to me. If you have allergies and like pizza, you need to check this place out! They can even make breadsticksand cheesy pizzas safe for a person with dairy and nut allergies. It's such a great place! Read more
The new owners are quickly turning this into one of the best pizza/pasta/calzone places there is! Had the pleasure of talking... the the wonderful duo that have taken it over and am excited by what they have planned(including new menu and remodeling). Myson and I needed some grub after a long weekend of moving households... Starting out with their made from scratch breadsticksand marinara sauce... The flavor of the two are great on their own, put them together for a combination that can't be beat. Thenon to the pizza... I had the go to for me Hawaiian, which the flavor of the crust and toppings coming together with the marinaramade my taste buds very happy and my stomach very full. My son had the garlic chicken with bacon. The Alfredo sauce and othertoppings, with again a very delicious crust were amazing... Multiple times he gave me the nod of approval while hungrilyenjoying bite after bite. I know that we will definitely be back many, many times in the future, not just for the amazing food,but to see the renovation that will be coming back with some amazing old family recipes topping it all off! Gio's has become our favorite pizza place around; for our Italian-American family, that is saying something. There are plenty of... great pizza and pasta options, and the quality of the ingredients is top notch; it's great to find a calzone locally. We moved to Syracuse almost 2 years ago and have now FINALLY found our pizza place! The pizza was AMAZING! The new owner is SO... NICE and helpful. My kids loved it and said we aren't going anywhere else. So from here on out, Gio's on Antelope is our familynight pizza place! Wow ! Delicious I was not disappointed at all it definitely hit the spot ! So this is the second time in a week I have been here... I can honestly say this is the best pizza around and I know it will only get better as time goes by thanks for such a greatpizza. Okay I have been here a few times now and all I can say is WOW !
