A great BBQ restaurant with friendly staff and a great location just on the edge of Wells Gray. We wanted to try the meat... platter but decided it would be to much for the two of us. So we both took a combo plate so we could still taste everythingexcept the chicken. And it did not disappoint. The ribs and brisket were really good but my favorite was the pulled pork. This place was a 2 mins drive away from where we stayed at Dutch Lake Motel. Great ambience. Ordered the meat combo (beef... brisket and ribs) and added a Mac and cheese. Beef brisket was so tender and juicy and it melts in the mouth. Ribs was tasty buta little tough and dry. The sides were so good too. Can’t do without a pint of locally crafted beer. I have to say definitely a good bang for your buck. Portion size was perfect. I had the brisket. Best brisket i have had, it... melted in your mouth like butter and paired perfectly with Chimichurri sauce. To top it off i had the chocolate tarte it took mypalate out of this world. We came here after a nice hike in well gray. The wait to get a table wasn't bad but the wait to get our drinks and food was a... bit. The food was exceptional and the staff was very pleasant. Our server, Becky was really good.we will definitely be back whenwe go to wells gray. Read more

Service was wonderful and restaurant is cozy, quirky and clean. Food was not bad, we had the chicken wings (dry rub), vegetarian... platter, brisket plate, and brisket sandwich. Vegetarian platter had smoked kale - one of the best versions of kale I have everhad. Would have been happy with a full plate of just that. Cheese selection wasn't bad, corn bread was amazing. Rest wasOK. Brisket was 4/5 and the bbq sauce was excellent. Mashed potatoes were great but the beans were over-smoked and took awayfrom their natural flavours. Before we went to Clearwater we looked up popular dining places and this place showed up. And this was highly recommended by the... employees of the visitor center. So we decided we have to try this place at least once. And boy it was worth the experience. Thewelcome, the service was fantastic. The food was worth the wait. It was absolutely delicious. We ordered nachos with chicken andbrisket burger. Both were awesome. The brisket was mouth watering. We couldn't finish the nachos and wanted to take the leftovers with us. The server was kind enough to provide us the aluminum lid for the container it was served in. Made it much easierto heat it up for our next meal. The decor was also quite cute. This place is definitely a go to place if you are at Clearwater.Highly recommend it. Read more

Went for dinner and had a great meal. I was last here 3 years ago and the quality hasn't changed - still great food. We got the... meat platter for two - so much food and a good way to sample everything. We have plenty of leftovers for lunch. Our server wasfriendly and efficient but I wanted to leave this review to especially compliment the young guy who was greeting people at thedoor and clearing and cleaning tables.
