It's one of the newer stores with an inside where you can sit and eat. The service was TERRIBLE, I don't even want to get into... it but they need to brush up on their knowledge of the CHECKERS app. They kept arguing with me about what the app said vs whattheir system said. I ordered the number 8 and the chicken was burnt very bad the fries were soggy. At first the gentleman was trying to give me... burnt fries and I stated that I would prefer fresh fries. I will never recommend this checkers. The lady that was cooking wasmessing around with cigarettes right were the food is made. To be honest all 3 individuals were very rude and should not beallowed to prepare food if they are going to be that disrespectful to paying customers or anyone for that matter. I didn't want to come here but my kids love their chicken bites even though they're garbage. Not to mention the last time I ate... there, my fish sandwiches were black and burnt. They gave me attitude and acted as if it wasn't their proboem. Read more
They were out of seasoned fries, tenders and lettuce then when we finally ordered something they had but certainly wasn't our... first or second options and got to window they couldn't take any cards. Read more
at the time of this writing I'm currently working at checkers. They have no idea that I'm writing this review. Working at... checkers was on my bucket list. So I'm just passing through, this review is 100% honest. Absolutely the best burger at the bestprice you will ever have. The Big buford's amazing, but the checker burger is where it's at. The fries are always off the hook,they're absolutely the most popular item. The latest thing is the fry season chicken tenders. But IMHO they need to use exactlythe same batter as the fries. They taste incredible, but they need to kick up the crunch factor just a tad. Checkers getsknocked a lot, for being slow. And I'll own that myself, before I worked there I had the same gripe. But what I've come tounderstand, from behind the scenes, checkers doesn't skimp on anything, period. Every item is made pretty much as you'reordering it, we can hear it over the speakers, and the artificial intelligence that they use for the drive-thru is cutting edge,most people don't realize they're talking to a computer, checkers is dead up serious at getting orders right. We rarely have toremake an order. But because the prices are so reasonable, people tend to order more. Couple that with the fact that the food isjust plain stupid good. When you see a long line at a place it's not because they're the only game in town, it's because thefood's worth waiting for. And all throughout the training, and consistently, the main message they sent to their employees isthat we make food, for the hard-working, average American population. Just like us. Not sure, here.... For starters, it's probably one of the dirtiest, most unclean, and unsanitized Checker's. If I do stop here,... it's because I'm starving (and always late at night). I always order a burger or fries and definitely a vanilla/strawberry swirlcone. I love these cold, refreshing ice cream cones after my 15 mile bike ride home from work. Well, if the cream would stay onthe cone. However, once I explained my clumsiness I had asked, politely, for another and without hesitation I was given one morechance, but this time in a cup. No charge, either! This is the problem with this store. There needs to be a responsible adultduring the late shift. Here's why...When you approach and have not even stepped onto the platform, you are hit hard with thearoma of some very good marijuana as if it had just rained ganja. You walk up to the ordering window, look thru the closed glassand see not one staff member. Obviously, there are people working this shift because it looks like a tornado has just gone backand forth inside a few times. The floor is trashed. The counters where the sandwiches are prepared are covered with pieces ofrandom sandwiches and undescribable debris from one end to the other. I looked and didn't see a broom nor a sanitizing bucketanywhere near this "landfill". After waiting for 3-4 minutes, like mice waiting to come out to feed after the lights are out,you start seeing legs coming in from the outside, trailing the legs, a more stronger aroma that definitely is not on the menu,and most obvious, not one washed hands nor put on gloves after they did come inside. Not one of them had said hi nor anythingclose to a proper greeting.(although they were very high and when they did talk it was low whispers..lol) All these four youngadults need is to be retrained on cleanliness, sanitation and job their shift responsibilities.
