The Good: Authentic Mexican fare at reasonable prices. My steak, chorizo and pork tacos were flavorful and delicious. Their... chicken burrito was also similarly delicious. The Bad: The waitress was inattentive and oh sooooo slooooow! She would disappearfor painfully long periods of time. After asking for the check and waiting for an eternity, I finally walked up to the registerto pay. Restaurants like this one need to understand that no matter how good the food is, poor wait staff can ruin the entiredining experience. There is no pepper shakers,no queso, or any other cheese sauce. The condiment cup of Jared red n green sauce that they call... salsa is garbage. No real salsa, chips are thick n cold. We got the Mexican Cuban ( not sure what the name was) that had egg onit. Was extremely bland, ( but good) just bland. Asked for mayo n lady was snooty about it. Then brings a tea spoon in acondiment cup. I am a salsa n chip person and this was a joke. Turned off at that moment. I wanted to leave but my girlfriendwas lets try it. So I wouldn't come back. I paid $9 for three small torillas with cheese. I ordered cheese enchilladas and there is no sauce what so ever. There a small... amount of lettuce some plain chips. the apparance is deceiving because all the partrons were of spanish decent so I though Ifound MY mexican restaurant. Sad! Authentic Mexican Restaurant The wait was long but my patience was worth the meal, simply delicious. (Also, friendly... host/waitress) I had Agua Chile w/cooked shrimp & Strawberry Margarita, the reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 is because theyweren't attentive towards the customers. Pretty authentic Mexican. I had the milanesa torta and my husband had the burrito alpastor. They make their own horchata. Food... was good, we were almost halfway done before I snapped pictures. Finding Mexican food that tastes like something a Mexicanmother would make is difficult in Florida, really happy to have found this place. Great price and great food. Very kindwaitress. Read more
I'm despondent about some of the negative reviews on here. Writing a bad review because the food isn't like somewhere else you... ate (taco bell) is ignorant. And writing a bad review because you came in 10 minutes before closing and we're treated rudely isalso, ignorant. The food sure was different than anywhere else I've eaten, and it was AMAZING. Bold ideas and new-old flavorcombinations were very intuitive. I look forward to the opportunity to return to sample more of the menu The service wasgood... Not blazing, but assuredly adequate. If you stop here, go outside your comfort zone and try something original on themenu. I was most pleased. Read more
