I am very disappointed today with my order. I love the spicy shrimp pizza here, been ordering for years. Today I picked up, took... it home and when I opened it looked different. It was a buffalo chicken pizza with a couple of shrimp on top. I am only madabout it because it wasn?t a mistake. I checked the buffalo chicken pizza on the menu and that has no shrimp topping. They soldme the mistake pizza with some shrimp on it. Nice. Read more
Loved this place over the years, ordered takeout from the website, when I picked it up, 3 of the 7 things I ordered were... missing. I asked about the first item and was told, "Oh, we're out of that, you could order something else." Second and thirditems, same response. He was going to let me walk out with almost half my order already paid for missing and not say anythinguntil I asked. Asked for a refund, that hasn't come in yet either. Too bad, I'll miss the food, but I'm done with Newk's. Read more
This is our favorite place to get salads in Tampa area! We live in New Tampa and drive to Clearwater just for the amazing... SALADS! The barbecue chicken pizza is really good too. We met the owner today! He?s so friendly and gave many suggestions on themenu. He also let us try a few extra things. We need a NEWKS location in New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area! Read more
Decent potato soup, but pizza was disappointing. I don?t expect it to look just like the website but man this thing is really... sad. Very very salty. Wont be back based on this first time experience, real shame - heard good things and reviews reflect abetter quality than I received. Read more
I love the big variety on the menu, and their soups and salads are always fresh and flavorful. I especially like Newk?s Favorite... salad, and I?ve liked every soup I?ve had. The roasted garlic up front is nice to add to soups too. Staff is always friendly andhelpful & the restaurant is kept clean. Read more
We had a very good meal for lunch. However our waitress's Nicole in the clearwater store was exceptional. Not only a pleasant... conversation but it was pouring outside and she was running customers back and forth to their car with an umbrella. You don'tsee this kinda of service anymore! Read more
Quality and service at the Gulf to Bay location has gotten very bad. Not even busy, food took 15 minutes to come out, and had to... ask for it several times before the kitchen even saw the order ticket. Paid extra for a fruit side and the fruit was anythingbut fresh. No ice in any of the fountain drink machines, many dirty tables that had not been bussed. Also out of several menuitems. I hope this place can turn it around! Read more
