I am taking the time to leave this review today due to one very specific individual staffed at your 4192 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons... NC 27012 store. His name is Paul Hicks and he is the assistant manager working there as of 7/9/22. I would like to bring toattention how remarkable of an employee he is and he should be recognized for his outstanding professionalism given today. Iplaced an order via UberEats and after a little over an hour of no change I called the store to check on the status of the orderfrom their end. The assistant manager Paul Hicks took the time to explain some things about UberEats that he definitely didn'thave to for my benefit. He also took the time to help me sort out the issue (UberEats responsibility & not his) and ensured thatthe order was remade fresh almost an hour and a half after UberEats FINALLY manages to assign a driver to pick the order up. Healso made sure to stay within the front of the store to handle the transaction himself. This was highly appreciated given thefact an employee at Jersey Mike's had sent the first driver to pick up my order away. That in itself is a different situationthat has no place here in this compliment. Upon that happening I received a prompt call back from Paul explaining in briefdetail the following steps he plan to take to ensure my order was delivered fresh and well perfect. What he kindly left out ofour phone conversation was that he included a free sub card redeemable in-store at this location on top of the alreadyexceptional service and remade fresh subs! Paul Hicks will be the main reason my husband, myself and our children go out of ourway to eat only at this Jersey Mike's locally. (We reside 30 minutes away from this store.) Hot sandwiches are the best ever! I would recommend the Mikes famous philly.
Saturday 6/18/22 I placed an online order to be ready at 4:30. In addition to always tipping, I arrive 10 minutes later than the... ready time. When I walked in at 4:40, my order was not ready. I went to 3 different employees and politely mentioned that I hadsomewhere to be, and a car full of groceries sitting in the June sun outside. Each one told me they were waiting on wheatbread. At 4:49 I told the manager on duty - who was friendlier than the other employees - that I needed to get my food or arefund and then my food miraculously appeared. When I got home the hot sub, which was also on wheat, was cold. From what Iobserved, the hot sub was waiting and they didn?t start on the cold sub until I got there. I always order ahead online because Iknow Jersey Mike?s locations get busy. That?s because the food is outstanding. It?s frustrating because this kind of experienceseems to happen more often than not. Read more
Very polite, friendly and professional staff at this location. This is the way all Jersey Mike's should be staffed, but... unfortunately they are all not this way.
