First I was very excited to go there and try the food! My family and I went there for lunch. The place looks nice and all but... honestly when I left there I was very upset and disappointed. Let me explain, the food portions were smaller than what Iexpected for the price ! The taste of the food was just ok, was missing a lot of salt and spices in my opinion! We were rushedto order our food and the waitress was giving us wired looks when we ask her questions! Most importantly, we were at therestaurant around 2:35pm the waitress told us that ?there is no rush but if you don?t order before 3 pm we will not be able toserve you because we take a break !!!! ?I was very surprised and upset. So I asked the waitress when I looked online and it saysyou will be open from noon till 10 pm She said? that is correct but we take break at 3 pm and the chefs too take break ? I toldher it doesn?t say anything about it online how are we supposed to know. Then she started to have attitude and I can tell shewas mad but am sorry things like that have to be put in paper and online because what if some people are coming from longdriving distance to eat at this restaurant! Not logical to tell customers who may be hungry that oh we will not serve youbecause we take break it will be another 30 or and hour! My opinion is if you want to take break that is ok as long as it iscommunicated to the customer before coming! Absolutely Incredible. From Service to Quality of food. Literally felt like I was in Japan. My Son was wanting Ramen as he was... not a Sushi Guy, But he got intrigued by the Plates and Menu and decided to go for it and now he can't stop talking about goingback. I concur. Absolutely delicious! We had the pork and duck buns and they were so good and unique! The White Tonkotsu Ramen was classic and... full of flavor all the way down to the soy sauce marinated soft boiled egg! There are house special cocktails and the one we hadwas the Osaka Orchid and deliciously dangerous! Fresh ingredients and full of your favorite dishes! Highly recommend! Read more
The place was decently busy but seating was not a problem. It has a nice open layout that makes it feel very social. The staff... was funny and quite pleasant to talk with. The music was modern pop sounds but not loud. Very pleasant! The bill was pricey butI expect nothing less for the quality and amount of food. It was great! The Sushi pieces are large! Very good food! Went to try the ramen and it did not disappoint! Very flavorful, noodles were cooked perfectly, broth was rich... and the pork was tender. The dumplings were fresh and full of flavor. The Sunset sushi roll was vibrant and bright with a crisptaste of mango which compliments the tempura shrimp and was beautifully plated. 10/10 would recommend this place! Was very slow service and the server acted like she didn?t understand me. The sushi bar staff were excellent, friendly, and... quick! The food was good, but honestly the vegetarian options would be better off with tofu or just extra vegetables becausethe soy chicken isn?t the best texture or flavor. The vegetarian broth is great though and the Tonkatsu broth was great as well. Read more
Best sushi in NC. We've tried a lot of places and they are ok, we get our fix, but this place is above and beyond amazing. All... other places are dead to us now. They got everything perfect. And they got ramen too. Super friendly service, clean, modern, newon the inside as well. Read more
