Spectacularly bad service & spectacularly bad food. We had a drink & waited & waited for an hour and 20 minutes for our shrimp &... grilled oysters to come. I got so hungry waiting that I left. My husband texted me to come back when the appetizers finallycame. The oysters were terrible and shrimp over cooked. I had planned to order dinner too but given the wait & poor food weleft. Please just don’t do it. We will never go here again. For starters the oysters were so over cooked and rubbery that we had to... scrape them off the shell with a knife. I ordered pork bbq which was so over cooked and dry it was like chewing cardboard. Themacaroni and cheese had been reheated for who know me how many days because it was almost brown with several layers of crispycheese on top. My husband ordered fried catfish was had absolutely no seasoning and was almost raw on the inside. We have livedhere for almost 4 years and by far the absolute worst meal we have had. Visited on three separate occasions. Unfortunately would not recommend. The food quality has been acceptable but not what you... would expect for the price you’re paying. The only standout food I’ve had has been the oysters, but would have to say thatthe BBQ was sub-par in comparison to other available restaurants. Read more
Exceptionally nice waiter. The food was spectacular. My wife had the best shrimp and grits yet. I had a hamburger with brisket.... Wonderful. Prices are average. Worth every penny of it. Read more
Have used take out several times, this time the food quality was very subpar, French fries were dark, oily and just plain bed,... they need a trip to the local BK to see how it's done. The pulled pork was very very fatty, to where my wife couldn't eat it.The beans and corn bread were the only decent items. Will make the trek to the Spotted Pig next time. Read more
I was very excited to find a local place with the menu advertised. However, the Voodoo Oysters came drowning in pimento cheese... and overcooked for char-grilled. They were extremely small and not cleaned well, very gritty/sandy. Also, the oyster prices werealmost double than the menu advertised on their website. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Such a good variety but focused menu. I had the low country boil and it was loaded with sausage, ... 15 large shrimp, new potatoes, onions and corn on the cob. I also sampled the fried oysters and shrimp on my friends dish. TheBrunswick stew was phenomenal with just a hint of sweetness that is expected in a good stew! Definitely a MUST go when nearClemson. We ordered food for our Clemson tailgate and it was amazing! Jim made the process very easy and the food was a huge hit!... Definitely try the collard greens and the grits! We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you so much!!! Read more
