only giving 2 stars cause the food was excellent. the manager was horrible & the server Maria clearly doesn’t know the menu... prices. came to dinner 12/02/22 for a girls night and we asked about a strawberry margarita PITCHER & we specified it to hermultiple times. she told us $15.99 for the pitcher so we ordered it. the pitcher barely had any liquor in it, it was all ice butfor $16, it is what it is. we all had split checks and noticed we all had $15 charged for the pitcher. we asked Maria why wewere all charged & for TOP SHELF and she told us it’s $45. when we told her that wasn’t what she told us, she stumbled overher words and couldn’t talk. we asked for a manager and all the manager had to say WITH AN ATTITUDE was “oh I’m sorry” &basically told us we were lying because she had told him that we asked for top shelf which we didn’t. Third time ordering from the restaurant and sadly it will be my last. For $19 my carnitas had 4 pieces of pork and 1/4 cup of... rice and a couple tablespoons of frijoles. I guess they justified the prices because of the cheap cuts of pork for the carnitas.A disappointment. Read more

San Jose is our #1 go to Mexican spot. It's always delicious with quick service. The prices are great for how much food you get.... The salsa and queso are the best. The Dracula drink for Halloween was excellent with great presentation. Otherwise, I always getthe frozen strawberry marg. Read more

This is a small clean 3 location Mexican restaurant that I visited for the third time. I stepped out of my normal lane when I... ordered the San Jose's El Vortan ($18.49) a new dish with a mound of savory pork al pastor, chorizo, diced pineapple, cheese,salsa Verde, onions and cilantro. The key worded savory and mound. The dish came with 6 flour tortillas. It was delicious. Ihad Daracula's margarita. It was a fun drink with a hit of dry ice for smoke and an eyeball. The Nachos Supreme were very good.I forgot to order jalapeños on the side..my bad. The salsa was ok. I mixed it with the hot salsa which is habanero based. Theydo not have a jalapeño or salsa Verde style offering. My wife and in-laws enjoyed their food also. I will be back next time wevisit. Read more

Everything was so tasty here. My table ordered the appetizer sampler (chicken quesadilla was amazing), enchiladas and tamales.... Every single item had its own flavor and it was all delicious. Ask for the hot sauce made in house, I ended up ordering more totake home. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the organic margarita. The house marg is just as good but $10 cheaper. Our absolutely favorite place to eat!! Everytime we visit FL this is our first stop. Best chimichangas! Service is always... amazing. We sat in the bar booth, and had Andrea as our server. She was wonderful! So helpful and picked an amazing meal forme. The Vulcan was fabulous. Really enjoyed the all day happy hour prices. Can't wait to come again when we visit next month! Read more

Been here twice but never stayed. Always take out, the packaging is great and the food is one of the best in the area. I really... dig the mole enchiladas it's different since everyone does mole different. But if you ever need some good Mexican this is theplace to get some. Only downside is when I entered it took somebody about 3 minutes to "acknowledge " me.. so many people passedby but no one ever said hi or acknowledge I was there until the host came from the back.
