We were hiking in north Georgia, and got hungry on the way back. First plan was to stop in Helen, but man that was congested.... Decided to go to Cleveland and find a spot. Hopped in here, and we were impressed! Fast and friendly service, fair price, andgreat bbq. We tried the chopped brisket and the chicken, both great. The smoked wings were juicy with crispy skin. This restaurant was awesome! We showed up late after a long day hiking, like 10 minutes to close on a Sunday. Not only were... they super helpful and nice, but the food was great. Stopped in this evening and placed an order to go, the staff were very friendly and service was prompt. The pig melts and... chicken quarter were good, tender juicy and delicious by all accounts. I paid for two plates and also another pig melt. The foodwas served fairly fast but I do have a small gripe, the potion size I received for fries was lacking to say the least. I am an out of towner who has made it a point to stop at North GA BBQ every yearly visit for over 10 years now. Was bummed when... the Helen location closed, but tried the Cleveland location and the pigmelt is just as delicious 15 minutes down the road as itwas in Helen. The mac n cheese was also unique and was a great creamy goodness to pair with the pigmelt. If you're in the areaor traveling/visiting like me, you'll never regret stopping by for some bbq. Don't play yourself by skipping the pigmelt, thatwould be your only mistake! Read more
