so the servers have always been pleasant. they generally have a drink special going all day as well. the food is pretty tasty,... but there could be a few improvements, such as portion of mean to vegetable ratio, but overall good. drinks could definitely usea price revamp because I can find a lot of drinks of the same bottle in lower proportion, but an overall good west 25thexperience. Yum!!! Delicious tacos and guac!! Had no problem getting in at noon on a Tuesday. Great service, well priced. Only downside to... me, and probably wouldn't be to others-- I think there are about 10 (maybe 8) types of tacos on the menu, and half of them werepork- if you don't eat pork, you are slightly limited in your options. A nice place to eat by the West Side Market. Wonderful guacamole and salsa verde. The smoky red sauce was okay, but a bit too... heavy on the smoke flavor. Ambience was quite good, although I did not personally care for the music (I am not a music guy). Thetacos were fantastic, a bit spicy but not too much. Extensive drink selection too, although I do not drink. The waitress wasgood, but she spoke a little too fast to catch everything she said. Read more
Great tacos. Fun atmosphere. Good music - heard Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. Their pineapple margarita was amazing!
I can't wait to go back. These tacos are decadent. Get the fish taco. Or the shrimp one. You won't regret it. As far as... portions, I normally eat 1.5-2 Barrio tacos and here I was full with 3. The chips and guac appetizer (with other salsa, too) wasoutstanding. Shout out to the customer service as well! I had 3 tacos and somewhere between me ordering and the food comingout, someone cooked the wrong one for me. The waiter handled the mishap calmly, went to address it, and a few minutes later Ihad the taco I originally ordered and I believe they took that one off of our bill, too. Read more
