Stopped in for dinner before a show. The hostess was lovely and almost apologetic letting us know they didn't have any tables... available. She told us could get full service at the bar. Our server/bartender Keegan was fantastic! She timed our meal so wewould not worry about being late for the show. The food and the drinks were absolutely amazing! We will be back, and, more thanlikely, eat at the bar again! Thank you Keegan and the entire staff for making our night out something truly special! Read more
Service was terrible. Our waiter seemed to ignore us and we ended up having to cancel our dessert. He was unapologetic and took... his time giving us the check when he knew we were in a rush to get to our show. The food was mediocre. Read more
My husband and I went to go see frozen on Friday on Friday and decided to have dinner here. This was the worst meal that I've... ever had. We got the chicken piccata . Also a side of asparagus and a caprese Salad. I told the server that it was really badshe looked at me like she knew but never offered anything thing. I would have been nice to have a little bit of a discount orsomething nor something. I will never ever go back to eat at that restaurant again. Read more
I used to love this place. So happy to come back, but the experience was so disappointing! First the good, our server after... waiting awhile, was very attentive. The bread was excellent. Unfortunately, The night started off poorly as when we arrivedbefore the event at the Connor theater, we were taken all the to the back of the dining room by the kitchen, though we had madea reservation and very few tables were yet occupied. When asked, the hostess did grudgingly agree to seat us closer to the maindining. The Caesar salad was tasty but over drenched in salad dressing. The meatballs were over cooked but passable. Thebolognese was average however, the seafood risotto was so salty, I couldn’t eat it. Though I did not complain the server wasobservant and asked what else she could bring me. The replacement salmon was passable as it had no seasoning whatsoever. Onlyone Cab by the glass and it wasn’t the greatest. The coffee was okay, but the tiramisu was dismal. No resemblance to any Ihave ever enjoyed. This restaurant is so convenient to events at the playhouse, but we will search further afield the next timewe have tickets. Read more
Delicious Italian food in a cool, rustic setting. Nice location across the street from the theaters. I was able to walk in and... sit at the bar...normally need reservation for a table. Had the porcini, sausage and bean soup and the porcini and truffleravioli. Both were very good. Service was nice and food was pretty quick. Bread was very good too. Will definitely be back. Read more

Went for dinner right before attending a play at Playhouse Square. It's convenient for that because it's right across the... street. The food comes out fast and even though they recommend reservations you can typically walk right up to the bar. It ispricey but it's an upscale place where you don't see many casually dressed people. Even so, you don't have to dress up. Forparking there are many garages around, meter street parking is free in the evenings and on weekends or you can leave your car ata close lot and walk over. We went to Cibréo after a matinee show, for early dinner. The host, whose name I unfortunately can’t remember, was incredibly... accommodating and kind. Our server Lauren was super professional & attentive. She was calm, organized, friendly, and anticipatedthings that we needed without even having to ask. In fact, hilariously, my mom loved her so much that she even suggested webecome roommates in the middle of our meal (lol). I’ve been in the industry most of my life and I, along with my whole family,was very impressed with our service from start to finish. And the food was excellent! We had a white bean soup, caprese salad, afew different pasta dishes, the salmon, and a braised short rib special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & delicious. Thecomplimentary focaccia was great as were our cocktails and dessert. We will definitely come back to Cibréo next time we go toPlayhouse Square, and we’ll recommend it to friends as well.
