Visited last Saturday after Guardians playoff game. This pizza , based on my travel experiences to Europe, is the closest to... real Italian that you will find in Cleveland. They use 00 flours from Europe to produce a very thin crust that still has a good"chew" to it. The wood fired oven is HOT and cooks the pizza very fast in the Neapolitan style. We ordered a specialty whitepizza and 3 specialty reds. All came out perfect. Some may object to the slight charring of the crust in places, but this isnormal and characteristic of the style. Stopped by this afternoon with my mom and two young kids. Everyone loved their food, especially my 4 year old, who took down... almost an entire cheese pizza. Joe was super welcoming and engaging and made us feel comfortable. We are looking forward to ournext trip. Great pizzas, and amazing staff. Read more
I LOVE the pizza from this place. I?m not sure if they still have it on the menu but I have always ordered the caesar salad... pizza. The dough is delicious & the service is super quick- you won?t have to wait long for your pizza to be made after youorder. Also, the decor in this place is fantastic! Let me just say: O-M-G. This is the best Pizza I have eaten in Ohio, since moving to the United States two years ago. The... Neapolitan style pizza reminds me of the European/Italian style pizza I am more familiar with. The ingredients are so fresh andthe crust is just majestic. I have visited the place only a couple of times but every time I finish my pizza I want to go backimmediately. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a more authentic Neapolitan pizza place or you're willing to try anew style of pizza. Read more
Took a trip over to Citizen Pie on West 26th this weekend and enjoyed their oven-fired pizza! Ordered two pizzas: the smoked... pepperoni and the little Italy. Both were very tasty and flavorful. The pizzas prices are okay but the flavors are really goodand the menu has a lot of variety. I'm sure I'll be back! Read more
Finally, got a chance to grab one of these incredible calzones I?ve heard so much about, and I was not disappointed. I even... drove it back home 20 miles and it was delicious. While we waited for the calzones, my daughter and I ordered a small pie, andit was done in a flash. Being 6, she?s very particular about pizza and this was one pie, which she still talks about. Not onlywas the pizza and calzone awesome, so was the staff we hung out with. Highly, HIGHLY recommend a visit to Citizen Pie. Read more
