Oh my goodness. We randomly stumbled upon this place. It?s a short walk away from 25th street. The busyness died down a little,... so I expected this place not to be great, but when we walked in, we instantly saw how beautiful it was with a gorgeouspatio. It was uniquely different, and I thought it was awesome. The food and drinks are different than the other places thatserve brunch. This is probably the best brunch meal I?ve ever had. The food was so delicious. I was upset it was gone. I wantedto order it again. They had drinks I?d never heard of, creating a sense of adventure. I 100 percent recommend Heart of Gold.It?ll be great for a date or to take a group of friends. I enjoyed it. Read more
Ducked into HoG to get familiar with their brunch offerings and was enamored. EVERY dish is beautifully plated, absolutely... delicious, and expedited swiftly. Really solid food. great staff. Comfy and clean. Listed as one of the Smash Burgers in Cleveland, From Heart of Gold on... Lorain ( the old Plum location) the bun is from Good Company, a special maggi mayo and features 1/2 pound of patties, sweetonions, dill pickles and American cheese. Perfect for a private party - great party menu and amazing service. Jonah was easy to work with and got the party set up... quickly and easily, willing to accommodate and be sure the event was as I'd envisioned. Eric and Parker rocked the front of thehouse and the chefs worked their magic in the back. The space is big - with a fun funky bar area, another side room, a diningarea and a huge patio. It was perfect weather so we stayed outside and around the bar, but the sports fans in our group foundthe TV and set themselves up without missing a play! Overall a great venue for a gathering - we had around 30 but the placecould easily accommodate 2-3 times that many! I was really happy with the venue, the food and the service. Perfect birthday:)!!! Ordered takeout for lunch. My salad was amazing - the ranch dressing and seasoning really set it apart from other salads. Also... the house-made lemonade is top notch, and the general vibe of the place is perfect. I?ll be returning here for dine in soon! Read more
