Our chef was hilarious and entertaining! The food wasn?t worth the price
Oh my god... This place is amazing, the food is great and the service is fantastic. People say the floor is sticky, but the... floor is not sticky and cleaned nicely. This place is under New Management, and boy is Kevin doing a great job! We came last night and honestly this location is our... favorite hibachi to go to, we?ve been to independence and breaksville, but none add up to the experience we got here. The staffwas great, our server she was on top of everything-never left me with half or less of my Pepsi. And the food was delicious.Everything was clean, and everyone was just so kind. Went here tonight at 9. Found it semi suspicious that no one was in there but figured it?s a Monday so I stayed. I received... water which had some kind of dirt or food on the rim. The soup was lukewarm. When I received my food the chicken was RAW!! I?mnow feeling nauseous because I ate a few pieces before realizing how raw it actually was. I sent the food back. It came backout. Then I realized that they hadn?t even cleaned the shrimp. The vein was still in almost all the shrimp and at that point theveggies were cold. Not that it mattered because they were under seasoned anyway and weren?t cooked through fully. Extremelydisappointing service. Waiter was super nice and apologetic. However, this is unacceptable for the prices they charge. Iwouldn?t serve that food to my dog. Raw chicken can kill you. Never again. Read more
Definitely impressed with how the cleanliness has improved! We come here many times of year (for holidays, birthdays, cravings,... etc) and the food and service were the ONLY reason we kept coming... even though it could?ve been much cleaner. But cominglately, the floors are much better, hoods aren?t dripping and the tables aren?t sticky! So happy we can continue to keep comingback (maybe even more now), and very excited that they are getting back to what it was like when I FIRST came here (years ago). Read more
The food was excellent. The service was lousy. We were quoted one price by our server. They brought our bill out and the price... was much more than we thought. We were told that thetly don't combine discounts. That is fine, as long as we are told upfront.We ordered things that we would not have ordered if they allowed what our server said they did. Also, the floor is very dirtyand sticky. It was so bad, my one year old dropped her pacifier and we purposefully left it on the floor because we didn't thinkwe could get it clean. It's too bad the food was so good. It overall was a huge disappointment. We'll not be going back again. Read more
Waited for 30 minutes had reservations and they said they only had 4 people. We spent over $500 in our group and they would not... honor my mother's buy one get one coupon. This place lost all of our business. They served us on dirty grills. Read more
Made a birthday reservation for 7. It's 8:15 and we still haven't ate or had a chef at our table. Took us 20 mins to get drinks.... We were told 10 more minutes for a chef. Update.. the chef made it worthwhile. Read more
