My daughters,wife and I stopped in on Monday afternoon for a quick lunch bite.I had the pastrami on rye ,hot with Swiss cheese.... Wonderful sandwich, fair price for the size. My wife and kids were happy as well with thier meals.I'll be sure to stop in againnext time we are hungry in Cleveland. Read more

Stopped in to meet a buddy for lunch. The place was fairly empty. The service was quick and my choice was the Nate's Special... Sandwich. This place has a variety on the menu including Mediterranean menu items. I'll be back. Read more
I got to visit an old friend. I started eating at Nate's during grad school, and remember the food was delicious. 25+ years... later it is still good. Had baba ghanoush, tabouli and a gyro, for lunch today, and it was as good as I remembered. PS my sonliked his platter. Read more
Up the street from the West Side Market and somewhat easy to miss, this is a Middle Eastern restaurant that serves the usual... fare along with deli sandwiches. Like all restaurants whose owners hail from that part of the world, the service is OK butmissing a certain gentle touch that's immediately noticeable and seemingly hard to remedy. The food is well prepped, looks andtastes authentic with the exception of the shish tawook sandwich that lacks any vegetables and feels like half an effort to dothe right thing. Okay restaurant. Got the taouk plate and the chicken brochette was a bit dry. The rice was good. The salad and the sauce tasted... a bit too sour for my taste. The portion is pretty generous. The price is okay. The waitress was nice and helpful. Read more

There?s really no polite way to say this?but the food here was pretty awful. We ordered the Grilled Platter (which included... shish kebab, shish tawook, and kafta over rice). All the meats were dry and tough, with a texture as if it had been heated inthe microwave for too long. The rice tasted too much like the commercial boxed rice pilaf you get at the grocery store. Itdoesn?t seem like whoever is managing the cooking has actually stopped to taste for a moment what is being served out to thecustomers. Very unpleasant food.
