My wife and I stopped here on a long road trip; as we got into town a little late we had trouble finding anywhere that was open.... When we called Thai Elephant, they took our order over the phone and kept their kitchen open for us so we could eat. The onlything better than their customer service was their food; amazing fresh noodles, perfectly cooked vegetables, and that rarest ofthings - food served at a truly ?Thai hot? level. Food is excellent. Yellow curry with pork has the unique yellow curry taste. Liked it so much. I can eat over and over again.... Green curry with crispy chicken is excellent too!!! Can not expect more. Large portion size, so we took leftovers fordinner. Recommend this place highly. Great people, great service. We generally like to eat Thai food. This was my first time ordering food from the restaurant and it will probably be the last. I order their Thai Basil with chicken... and this was the result. The food has this nasty after taste and neither the rice or vegetables appeared to be freshly prepared.The worse part was that there was a dead bug on top of extra ginger sauce I ordered. Read more

I have been a returning customer of Thai Elephant Restaurant for a long time now. Their food is pretty good. Up until today, I... had nothing but good things to say about this place. Tonight, just hours after I had purchased my order, I tipped my leftoversdirectly from the take out container onto a plate of mine so I could reheat them. After already digging into my meal, I realizedthere was a BUG in my rice, which I had already been eating. I am super disgusted and disappointed considering the food is NOTcheap. I bought two of these dishes coming to a total of nearly $30 and to spend that much on rice and find a bug is absolutelyhorrifying and very disappointing. I will not be returning to this place which is quite sad after all the many times I have cometo eat here. This restaurant was literally one of my favorite places in Cleveland to get fried rice and now they will never getmy business again. Very disappointing and will be returning first thing tomorrow morning to complain to the manager/owner. Read more
Our first time back after a few years. So glad they are still there!!! A small space with no one but us dining in, but plenty of... take-out going thru. Still serving great food that makes me do my happy food dance. Summer rolls are so refreshing! My son hadThai tea (YUM!), Dumplings and the Country Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken. I had Tom Yum Soup with Vegetables and and Yellow Currywith Vegetables. Everything had great flavor with right amount of spice. And the vegetables were cooked just right and plenty ofthem, with just a little crunch-perfect! Our server was on top of it and friendly, taking the to talk to us even though he wasbusy. It is a great treasure to have in our neighborhood. The only disappointment was that the menu has gotten much smallersince we were there last and miss some of the dishes that were cut, but that make choosing what to order a little easier.
