The star of the show here is the wide selection of beers both local and some hard to find selections. The staff is friendly and... knowledgeable about the beers. Although the menu is a bit limited they have some real gems like the calamari and the mussels.Definitely a must stop in the Tremont area. Read more
We were in the area visiting our Obi SR and chose to take a recommendation from my favorite watering hole reference guide and... found ourselves at the Tremont Taphouse. I would not refer to this establishment as a dive, as the aroma was nothing close tothe morning after a toga party at Kap Sig. The 4.6 rating is perfect! I gave it a 5 cuz it has to be a 4 or 5 and I roundedup. Selection of beers were awesome food was good and service was friendly and efficient. If a guy name Matt walks in and sayshe won 100 million and attended Harvard, introduce yourself as Howard Wollowitz and you just returned from Venus. btw the beerin the photo is theeee best bourbon barrel beer that I have tasted. Trendy bar stuffed in an old building. Great selection of beer and food. The pork belly nachos are really good, as are their... burgers. Prices are a tad high but in line with all the other places in Tremont and Ohio City. I love the huge window betweenthe bar and the patio, it provides a wonderful breeze on summer days. You will enjoy yourself here as long as it's not toocrowded. Read more
Really enjoyed our dinner here. We came on a Friday night & we didn't have a wait, which was really nice. Overall, the prices... are a little steep, but my food was delicious. I got the oven roasted turkey club. Very good! The fries were really good too.Great deal on beers, you can get any four 4 samples for $12. A great deal if you're interested in trying more expensive beers.The wine was a good size pour too. Read more
