This place was amazing. We ordered the artichoke and collard greens dip, jerk chicken wings, fried chicken, mac and cheese,... yams, and corn. They also brought out some cornbread before our meal arrived. Absolutely everything was beyond delicious Read more

Inconsistent flavors, and on more than one occasion the food has been overcooked or not fresh. I've tried them a few times, and... its definitely buy at your own risk. Have you ever seen a thigh as dry as these? Read more

(8/20/22) Soul Rolls and Fish Strips were delicious. Crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. There was a spicy sauce ... that came with it. My wife had the honey glazed chicken dinner. The chicken was sweet and crunchy on the outside and dry on theinside. It seems like the honey was a cover up for the dry chicken. The greens was good, but the house potatoes were supersalty. I had the smothered pork chops, Mac and Cheese, and house potatoes. The Mac and Cheese was cooked perfectly. But thehouse potatoes were too salty. Well, about the smothered pork chops. There was nothing smothered about these pork chops. Thegravy was just poured on top after being deep fried. You could have done it a bit differently. It could have been deep friedfor half the time. Then finish cooking it in the gravy for at least 30 minutes or so. At that point the pork chops would havebeen juice and tender and falling off the bone. The gravy tasted like they used a beef/steak broth which clashed with the porkchops. Instead of using a chicken broth. And unfortunately the pork chop was dry as well. I spend $70 for this experience. Read more

Real nice atmosphere. It was very crowded. We took a seat at the bar to cut our wait time. The food was good. To much salt for... my taste. My son didn't like the Mexican corn. The sauce for the fried green tomatoes was really good. I don't do spicy, but itreally was good. Read more

Got there after the kitchen closed and they opened it back up and cook for me and the family and the food was the best, better... then last time. No need to ask for refills because they were given without asking and didn't rush us to leave. Great music andall. Momma, Blue, and Big Chef are ones you gotta meet. I'll be there again soon Read more

First I tried to order online and they shut down online ordering around 6:00pm. The Euclid location would not answer the phone.... So I called the Shaker location. They wouldn?t take orders over the phone and said the only way to place a order was to come in.So we went in and place orders at the shaker location. They said the order would only take 15 to 20 minutes. It took well over ahour to get the food. No one ever came to check on us or apologize. I went to the back where take out was, there was my food. Notold me my food was ready. Still had to wait on the rest of the orders. No compensation for time or apologies were given. Willwaiting for the order the people in the back were laughing and joking around. Very unprofessional. I often patronize Zanzibar, but I don?t think I can any longer. It keeps going down. Then to add insult to injury the Mac and cheese was mainly noodle. Read more

In Cleveland for the weekend this is a must visit for a great soul food experience! Unfortunately on our Sunday visit it was... carry out orders only. The restaurant was spacious and when open for dining the ambience would be on point with the deliciousfood! Everything I ordered was tasty and the mini cornbread was all that. I highly recommend!
