How anyone could rate this wonderful place at less than five stars is beyond me. My wife and I just moved here from Arizona. You... might assume that excellent Mexican restaurants are plentiful there, but I'm here to tell you that few we tried in Arizona canhold a candle to El Cazador. The food was really good and they give you a lot of it; no skimpy portions in sight!! The guacamole with tomatoes and onions... off of the appetizer menu was awesome. And if you like margaritas... they are serving those up good and strong!! Parking ishard to get during lunch because they are packed; you may have to sneak across the street and park in the TRUIST BANK. Pricesare very reasonable. Loved their salsa. Food what prepared quickly and served hot.
I really don't understand where all this good service is coming from but I can tell you I've never seen it. The second you walk... in its all glares and no greeting or anything. The food is good but not worth the wait. The first time we were here we thoughthey it's busy it's ok there will be a wait but we waited 30 minutes from being sat to get a drink. I figured we could try itagain when it was slow but nope same terrible service with empty drinks for long periods of time. Keep driving it isn't worththe wait. Read more
