Maybe you have to be a regular to get great service. We went in and were seated by the bartender who I think was supposed to be... our server too. He brought water and never returned. I watched him serve others at the bar and tables nearby received drinks andfood even though they showed up after us. Another server came by and took our food and drink order. After ten minutes I hadn'treceived my drink so I walked over to the bar where the manager was chatting with patrons. I asked him about my drink. He spoketo the bartender and I received a dripping glass with my lemon martini. The drink was the best part of the meal. My lambchopswere overcooked and I just feel like everything was overpriced,especially since the menu prices in the restaurant were differentfrom the online prices. The service I received was great from the bartender . However I ordered the Arancini appetizer and it was overcook on the... outside. I have patronized this restaurant for many years even during the pandemic and ordered this dish multiple times and itcame out overcooked. What I perceived as a simple fix was anything but . The manager / owner informed me that the chef refusedto remake my order because he has worked there for 6 years. I believed they made an assumption that I am a your woman whowasn’t cultured and did not understand that I am a young woman who had traveled the world ordered this dish multiple times outof the country and even at their own establishment. The manager was rude and disrespectful . He insisted the dish was madecorrect but toward the end of the conversation informed me that they just purchased a new fryer last week which could needadjustment after telling me I could patron somewhere else . This was literally my favorite restaurant in Cleveland but I nowwill find a new establishment. Despite how I was treated I tipped my bartender $10 on a $6 bill because I only got my drink andshe was and absolute sweetheart who repeatedly apologized for how I was treated by the manager and cook . Taste is easily becoming my favorite restaurant. This was only our second time eating here, but it continues to astound me how... high quality the entire experience is dining there. The food is incredible. Every part of it. The apps, salads, and entrees.There is attention to detail in every bite. I ordered the filet mignon. I almost never order this steak when I'm out becauseit's usually underwhelming. I decided to give it a go because the wine reduction sauce was really grabbing my attention. I'm soglad I did. This steak was *almost* unnaturally tender. It was as soft as butter. I didn't even know it was possible for it tobe cooked that perfectly. I could rave about the food here at Taste for a long time. I haven't been disappointed yet. The cherryon top is that the wait staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress remembered us after it had been several monthssince we'd been in. She really knew her wine and was able to help guide us to a decision. It's a great place with wonderful foodand exceptional staff. I can't wait to go back. Read more

I have eaten here 3x already and every time I have really enjoyed it! The food is great! Customer service could use some polish!... My last dine in was actually dine out because we ate outside. I can say that I was surprised that they did forget us out there!I took my daughter for her 19th birthday and she really enjoyed it as well. Prices are steep but the food in my opinion is worthit. This will be a regular restaurant for me but mostly for special occasions. Read more

I have dined at Taste innumerable times, often before Dobama performances nearby. I have enjoyed many of the offerings but... recently discovered a standout favorite, the Filet Mignon Napoleon. I am a fan of raw and rare meat and the dish was PERFECTLYprepared. It required a bit of deconstruction to eat but the entree was spectacular! The potato pancake on the bottom hadabsorbed delicious dripping from the lower filet. The presentation is a real eye pleaser. The establishment also has anextensive wine by the glass menu which permits a party to indulge everyone's preference. Read more
