This place has the most greasy and salty food, I?ve ever seen which made me sick, definitely a food prone to cause you diabetes... and heart disease down the road. I don?t recommend it. If you want to stay healthy stay away from these type of foods. Read more

Food was not fresh for a total of $25 for quarter chicken and arroz with beans. Rice was mushy and old. Chicken arrived cold.... Diet Coke luke warm. I will not be returning nor ordering from here again. Read more
EXCELLENT! A great taste of the Caribbean with a fusion of dishes from Cuba, Puerto Rico and of course the Dominican Republic.... Truly good quality meats and flavor. For 5 stars the prices have to come down and breakfast has to be served earlier. **Update5.16.22: I really no longer wish to dine or get take out here due to the HUGE lack of consistency in the quality and taste ofthe food, portions and sometimes freshness. For those who know this restaurants menu and signature dishes as well as I do, andknow how good they were when they first opened...it's taken a bit of a nose dive that really frustrates me. SALTY bacalao (codfish dish) not left to drain long enough to remove the salt it is preserved in, some red meat cuts loaded with cartilage, fatand veins but thankfully the rotisserie chicken remains good and the salmon (when they do make it) plus their assortment ofbeans and rice combos are still good. I believe this is largely due to a constantly revolving staff as their "now hiring" signis always out. This of course effects the quality and taste of every single dish from cook to cook and then at times I haveencountered servers that give a mountain of rice and very little meat or whatever protein you've chosen. Hot tip: let them knowexactly what you're thinking as they're putting your dish together and it can get fixed and ask for the cuts with the leastamount of fat. Delicious! Clean space, large portions, super tasty! The owners are behind the counter filling orders and helping customers,... it?s truly a family run restaurant. They are sincere and care about the customer experience. I ordered the Moro Rice with FriedChicken, Vegetables and Sweet Plantains. I ate from this 3 times! I will be returning. Read more
Excellent Dominican type of food spot that you will not find around here...you have to either travel to Passaic, Newark or... Paterson or even West New York NJ for this type of food. They are very generous with the portions as well. You can check it outbut there will be Lines! Read more
As a Dominican growing up for as long as I can remember we bought this delicious chicken (el pollo de Johnny) on 68th street and... bergenline more than 20year + customer, last week for thanks giving I had purchased six chickens, the traditional things for uswe always get our chicken from johns fried chicken the nothing since I never had a problem till now I?m guessing this locationis lacking to deliver like the other 2 locations first and last time going to the location in Cliffside Park felt disrespected,neglected and scammed. I called the next day on Friday to try to express and explain what had happened ask to speak to a mangeror anyone in charged and was neglected to speak someone about my concerns so I left my name and number and was promised a callback till this day November 30th nothing I called on Sunday 11/27 same lady who picked up recognized me and said she had toldthe boss and that he will call?.smh unacceptable what a shame all I want from this is Don?t sell me burnt chicken in ediblebecause that?s exactly what happened No One ate the chicken, something very strange since we do not eat Turkey thank god myDominican family we are big on protein so it saved from the bad chicken we got served.
