So I'm disappointed, so much so this has taken me two weeks to write. I've been coming to this restaurant sense it open. Love... the owner! This is my family's go to place! I have always given a five star ???? But I'm so disappointed that the the food wegot was not correct and less then I have ever gotten. But what really got me is they gave me like a taco that I'd get attacobell !!! GROSS !!!! I'm sorry my friend if I oder tacos I want corn tortillas just like you not a corn chip ! We heard it was good! But worst we've ever had. The atmosphere wasn't appealing. We ordered chimichanga's. One beef and one... beans and cheese combos. We received two bean and cheese. Not that great. We ended up throwing them both out. Won't be back! Read more
Ordered through doordash. The food was only ok. I ordered the super fries, nothing special, be ready for soggy fries. They... also got my wife's order wrong so not only was the food only ok but she didn't even get to eat what she wanted. Minus one starfor food quality and order accuracy. We heard good things about their food so went there tonight. Firstly, the place is NOT appealing at all. Chipped, old paint,... taped windows, wobbly tables. I don't think they want sit-down customers because when food is ready. It comes in a Styrofoam boxwith plastic utensils. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food we ordered WAS really good. We ordered ground beef tacos andalthough I think the tacos were a bit overdone and almost dark brown, they were still good. Loved the chili relleno. It was flatinstead of the rolled ones We get at other restaurants. So fresh! Lots of people coming and picking up orders. No one sittingdown to eat. Read more
Just to start out, I love El j's food. However I have now orderd every breakfast burrito on the menu and have had a horrible... experience on every one. This may be a personal preference, "I don't know". It just seems I get 90% potatoes and 5% meat and 5%eggs. To me that ratio is just wrong. I want breakfast, eggs and meat and a side of potatoes to balance my burrito, not theother way around. Read more
Food is nasty, the people taking your order has no customer service is slow and can't get anything right regardless of being... patient and kind. We noticed we didn't get all we ordered was told we were wrong when we pointed it out and the bag was knotted.We had ordered a #1 and a #2 combination and a tostado, and they just couldn't grasp the concept of adding an additional itemalong with the combos. This isn't the first attempt at enjoy this Mexican fast food joint. They may have attempted to clean upthere place and modernize it but you can't hide the buildings need of repair. And again.
