The ambience and drinks are amazing. Food is hit or miss depending on what you order. The corn appetizer and veg pizza and... cauliflower tacos were great, however the cheviche was missing flavors and the Pollo tacos were overcooked and chewy, so thatwas a total miss. Also we asked for spicy sauce and they charged us $3.50 extra which I wish they had notified us before. Wenever get charged other places for hot sauce so giving a star less on that. Read more
Very much enjoyed our experience at Bitol. We got two drinks that were both tasty and refreshing. Their hot sauce salsa is spicy... and good as well. Our entre was the Mexican pizza and it was fire! Very flavorful and super filling. Overall, the food was greathere. My gripe was that we ordered this big cheese thing that came with a green salsa and when we were ordering apps we also gotthe green salsa. We were asking about it, so it was weird that the server didn't tell us they were the same thing. Felt likethey were just trying to raise the check. That being said it's not very expensive, so in the grand scheme, it did not make ahuge difference. Overall I give Bitol Cantina a 3.8 out of 5! Read more
Frankly, I am torn between giving this place 3 vs 4 Stars.. Cocktails here are amazing and there are quite a few unique options... to choose from. They even gave us a round of Shots on the House. Food on the other hand was touch and go. Some of dishes tastedreally good but for the most part, it was just average. Service too was a bit spotty. Food and drinks great. Is not your typical low budget tacos but are worth the price. The horrible experience was our server. She... was rude a mean very rude. My husband wanted to not leave her a tip, I usually do that if it was so bad Am not coming back butbecause everything else was good I want to give it another chance hopefully we get better luck next time and another waiter.Even worst was my birthday and my husband told her right up front. On top of never checking on us to the point we had to askother servers, for basically everything, when my husband ask for hot sauce she rudely reply the only hot sauce we got come withchips like if we couldn’t afford it I don’t really know what was her deal. He was like ok… I still want it. Then she tookforever and other server got us the to go container and she said: I guess am too slow, oh is your birthday are you having adessert is free? I'm a birria and churros lover so I wanted to see if this place passes the test. So let's start with you must make reservations... even for the bar. It was a friday so I didn't have to wait to long. Bar staff were beyond professional, attentive andcharming. We had their exotic drinks great for the pictures but great tasting as well. We had several variety of the tacos..The tacos were good. However those churros are to die for.. yum. Churros were filled with a creamy custard and served with 3amazing sauces. I loved the parcha sauce it balances out the sweet. Let’s just get the question on everyone’s mind outta the way, is it worth visiting? Absolutely. I Came to this hidden gem in... Clifton for my valentine celebration and have only good things to say. Everything from the presentation of the plates, to theatmosphere made me fall in love with this restaurant. And of course the food was delicious! freshly made and professionallyplated. Not to mention, my server Evelyn, as well as the rest of staff were very friendly and professional. They were all veryattentive and made my visit so much better because of it. Went to for dinner for 2. Staff was really friendly and check on everything often. Food was amazing. Only had to add a bit of... salt to the rice and tacos al pastor. Oh, and DEFINITELY try their exotic margaritas. We had the smokey pineapple. 10/10recommend it. Read more
