My husband picked up lunch from here on one Monday afternoon. We had the Big Haus Burger (double patty, served with caramelized... onions, American cheese, two strips of bacon and Haus sauce on an artisan brioche bun), Chopped Cheese (chopped beef patties,served with peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, and American cheese), and Onion Rings. I must say that the food held up prettywell during a half an hour drive home. The burger was good but a bit pricey for what it was. It reminded me of a Shake Shackburger but just more expensive. The chopped cheese was good. I appreciate that they have this on the menu because chopped cheeseis kind of hard to find. The onion rings were probably my favorite part. They were still super crispy after the transit time. Iwouldn?t mind coming back and eating the food fresh off the grill. I?d probably try the cheesesteak or the crispy chickensammie. Read more
Delivered burger, crispy chicken sandwich, fries and onion rings for Sunday dinner. Burger had no flavor. Special instruction,... aioli on the side because of the distance I knew I needs to reheat. Sandwich came with aioli and a pinch of lettuce. Oil infryer need to be changed. Fries and onion rings tasted like bad grease. Read more

Had my eye on this spot for a while and finally got the opportunity to check it out and was glad I did! Great local spot with an... owner you can tell has a passion for burgers. Loved the art on the wall about the history of a burger - worth the read! Fooditself was fire... I got the Bighaus and sweet potatoe fries. The burger was really good, 100% outdoes smash burger. Thefattiness was just right, oozed grease when you bit into it, but in the right way. Even the bun itself was good, perfectly pairfor the heft of the burger. I don't like sweet potatoe fries normally, but another guest encouraged me to give them a try and Iwas glad I did... super crispy and just the right amount of sweet. I know for sure I will have to go back and try to crispychicken sandwich after having that burger so definitely something I'm looking forward too! Price wise it's a really good value,they certainly don't gouge you here. Parking is plentiful and there is options for kids too. Overall I give BURGERSTRASSE a 4.6out of 5, an NJ burger must visit!
