Went here today for the first time. Atmosphere very cute an the artwork absolutely adorable. I overheard our server at another... table being very accommodating to a customer wanting to make a complicated change to something on the menu she was superpleasant and patient. I had the chicken and waffles with a spicy maple syrup. The chicken was perfect and the waffle was goodbut I also over heard the chef tell another customer it wasn?t her usual recipe. The biggest takeaway from my dining experiencehere was how much the wait staff and kitchen really care. We will be back again! Thank you! Read more
What is there not to love about this place. Delicious homemade brunch. Everything is cooked to perfection and with love and... care. The owner is a sweetheart and always around catering to your needs. It?s like a little oasis, hope away from home. Thedecor is super unique. I?m a coffee aficionado and was so glad that the coffee was great too! We had the egg omelets and wafflesand they were wonderful! Haven?t tasted waffles with such perfect texture in a really long time. Decadent and airy at the sametime. Will definitely be back with more friends and family. That BBQ hamburger was amazing. I ate tons of these amazing fries and there are still tons left. I started down the street... because I had a work call but that place was noisy so I came here and inside was perfect but then lots of people came in so Iwent outside which was perfect. In addition to the amazing food I appreciated how attentive the staff were with making sure myorder was right and working around me on a zoom while trying to order and eat. Five Star Brunch today! Been looking for chicken and waffles locally for some time with no luck until we met Tracy at a local... benefit event a few weeks ago and she told us about her place nearby in Clifton. She told me she made boneless chicken with herwaffles and I thought it might be some chicken fingers, but no!, it's served with a full size, boneless chicken thigh, seasonedin buttermilk batter and fresh fried up. All the benefits of classic chicken and waffles but no bones to deal with. Served witha spicy (or not spicy) syrup on the side and you can get a side of real maple syrup as well. Perfectly seasoned and cooked andserved up by a very pleasant staff. Big portion, too. Excellent! I gently persuaded my wife to try the shrimp and cheesy grits(also on the regular menu) and to both our pleasure they, too, were excellent. Nice size shrimp in a flavorful (not spicy)creole sauce on a bed of cheesy grits. Super tasty! The best stuff outside of NOLA. Very highly recommended for the great foodand service for breakfast, lunch or brunch! Read more
First time visiting this restaurant. Came here during brunch on a Sunday. Decor inside gives off beachside vibes. Very cozy... interior. We ordered the Benny specials. One chicken and waffle Benny and one Jersey Benny. They were both delicious. Portionsizes were good and healthy. Coffee was fresh and strong. My only caveat was the French toast. Though the French toast was good,it lacked flavor. Other than that the staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to try out different menuoptions. Read more
