Yum watercress was most memorable dish. Other dishes were avg. Spicy dishes weren?t spicy which were disappointing. I should... have requested to make spicy. Read more
This is my partner's favorite restaurant in the area, so I'm writing a review. He's usually the type to only order one thing... from a restaurant- for American, Hispanic, Chinese, etc. This was the first restaurant that made him want to try something new. He's pretty judgemental, so most places are just okay to him. This one was amazing. Hands down the best Thai restaurant he'sever eaten at. Every time we're in the area, this is our go-to spot. (I didn't get a picture of the duck dish he ordered- I'lltry to do that next time.) And for my word- it's a lovely little restaurant. The decor is unique and adorable, it's got amaximalist-chic vibe with large bookshelves filled with a lot of items that make it feel homey and a little upscale all at once. If you order a drink, it comes in these very hipster glass jars, which are reminiscent of Mason jars- but convenient to pickup. (I'll try to get a picture of them later too- I'm very into the jars.) The seats on both sides are cushioned, so there'sno fighting over who gets the booth and who gets the hard seat- both are lovely to sit at with equally amazing views. The menuis round and has high quality food photos on each page. I'm also quite picky with what I eat, and this is the first time I'vebeen to a restaurant where I liked their dipping sauce. Overall, this is my favorite Thai place- not just in the Fairfax area,and definitely worth checking out if you're around. Read more
Love the decor. Great lunch special with quick and pleasant service, you get two small apps and a main dish for $13-16 depending... on if you get chicken pork beef or shrimp. I got the spring roll and papaya salad and then the beef Pad See Ew. Read more
Space and atmosphere is lovely. Food is tasty. Service was pleasant. Everything you need for great experience when dining.
