What can I say? I'm a Cracker Barrel enjoyer. First time having breakfast there and the pancakes were amongst the best I've ever... had. Nice and soft and buttery with crispy edges, just the way I like them. The sugar-cured ham was wonderful as well. Honestly,almost everything was wonderful. The only ding was that I'm told the coffee was not great, for what it's worth. Apart fromthat, the service was nice and friendly despite the Sunday lunch rush. I will most certainly come again. The food was great and the service was wonderful. It was my husband's 1st time visiting one and he loved it. I hadn't been to... one in years but it was just as I remembered. Food was delicious I had pork chops my husband has fried chicken and my toddlerhad grill cheese. My husband also enjoyed the country store. Got lots of old time candy and treats. We were a party of 5; four people had breakfast and I had lunch. The food was good and the prices were within reason. We had a... short wait and were seated at a table for 4 and added an extra chair. There is a fireplace of course not on during the summertime. After eating you get to enjoy shopping in their attached gift shop. Read more
They try hard to serve well. The food is basic and simple. It is good. know what you are getting. It is pretty good for the... money and the shop is fun. All employees care and a pleasant. Worst brunch experience I have had. Our food took an hour. Everything was cold. Only thing worth eating was the pecan... pancake.Our server was terrible and ignored us for the entire time waiting for food. She also took an hour to get our coffee.And at the end it took us 45 minutes to get the check and the check was wrong and the server didn't know how to split the check.Overall my experience was very underwhelming. Came in for breakfast during the week and it wasn't too busy. We ordered our food and specifically asked for no butter on the... pancakes which didn't seem like too large of a request. When the food came out the pancakes had butter and we politely asked ifwe could get them without butter, our waitress Angelic. apologized and took them back to the kitchen. Within minutes shereturned apologized again and set them down. The pancakes were flipped upside-down this time, after turning them over we foundthey were the same pancakes just without the butter. At this point we decided not to say anything more because we didn't wantthe possibility of them tampering with our food. Overall was very disappointed and will not return. Read more
Good food on my end the dill dip with my tenders I could literally drink!! My mom said her roast beef was good the gravy had no... flavor. Our server who honestly was insanely busy was still kinda snippy. The gift store was beautiful and well priced. Althoughwe didn't buy anything I'd love to come back an Christmas shop... The service was fast and our to go order was package nicelyalthough he said the hamburger steak had no flavor an was dry. There are signs for help all over so there really isn't oneperson to blame for the environment but overall it wasn't terrible. We don't live close anymore so it's not somewhere we gooften haven't been in years.. but overall rating 6/10 Read more
