Stopped by on way to work- since I'd never visited before was given a menu to keep and told that everything could be made to go.... Got a bagel and lox. Clean, bright, cozy atmosphere, engaging staff. A bit pricey for the area, but hey, where else can I getsalmon and caper deliciousness at 8 am to go? New place that just opened up. Still trying to find its legs, but I believe they will do a real good. Food was good.
We found Cottage 81 to be full of comfortable rustic charm. We went on a Sunday and found that on weekends they serve a brunch... menu all day Saturday/Sunday. While on weekdays, they have a different breakfast /lunch menu. Everyone in our party reallyenjoyed the choices they made. Not your average food at all! Fresh, original breakfast plates made to order with locally sourcedingredients. Everything was delicious and hand prepared right down to the smoked lox and hand boiled bagels...really amazing! Weleft with a box of scratch-made bakery treats of muffins, turnovers, sweet breads and bread. When we returned home and ate themduring the week we were blown away by how great everything was. Totally worth a try, reasonably priced; heads up they are CashOnly for now. Amazing Place! Read more
