First time going was yesterday and I'm upset I haven't gone before. It was also my first time clearing my plate in a long time.... I had the country fried chicken with fries, bread, and grilled veggies. It was sooo good!! My mom had the fried fish plate andit was good as well. I don't live in the area anymore but it's definitely my go to when I'm in town. Definitely could have beenmore food but it was almost enough lol. We had a great waitress and most of the food was great...my sister had a burger and it was amazing ...husband had chicken and... dumplings and they were also great ...i had the fish poboy and I knew better lol because im from louisiana and because im acajun chef...the fish and bread were really good but if I were to order it again I would certainly have them leave off theremoulade sauce because its sweet like French dressing and the same color ...its supposed to be mayonnaise based ...its not...but I will go visit again! The food here is not very good. The the rueben had a few slim slices of meat on it. The sweet potatoes fries were limp. The... burger I ordered had mayo on it and a few small onion rings. If they had competition in Clinton they wouldn't last. Read more
Great little spot. I can't image a better restaurant in Clinton. Food is fresh and delicious. I recommend the catfish, burgers,... mozzarella sticks, pickle chips, & fried mushrooms. Big plus, they serve alcohol! The staff is incredibly nice too. Highlyrecommend!!! Read more
This restaurant is the best!! I have lived in Clinton for 4 years and I can?t believe I never tried this establishment! I?m... hooked on their Catfish plate, the catfish is fried to perfection, and seasoned to perfection! For the sides I usually get ColeSlaw ( which puts every major restaurant slaw to shame!) and Beer Battered Onion Rings (which are fried to perfection!) I havebeen to this restaurant three times already and I always get the same thing, I?m obsessed with this plate! Hopefully I will givethe other dishes a chance, because I will definitely be back!!
