Everyone in the DMV knows Ledos is a staple in Maryland (the first one opened in Adelphi/Hyattsville/College Park area). It is... the best pizza, my opinion. But please DO NOT go to the Clinton location! Apparently it?s franchised to ?those? who don?t care!I don?t live in this area, but was here to take care of some business- decided to ?eat in? after a hard day?s work. I walked upto counter and said ?table for one please?. The guy behind the counter said ?it?s self serve, in the restaurant. You can orderhere and we will call you up to retrieve your food when it?s done.? My mouth dropped. I placed order them proceeded to walktowards a table only to find 4 tables dirty, with remnants of previous guests? food on the table. I walked to the other side ofthe restaurant and same thing. I asked for napkins and used the hand sanitizer to clean table. I tasted the pizza I ordered itdid not taste like Ledos sauce! It was too salty. I ONLY eat Ledos pizza and I always order extra Ledos sauce on my pizza- so Iknow how their sauce taste. It?s like they added more salt or perhaps another tomato sauce to stretch it. The calzone was absolutely enormous, light, and AWESOME!!! My request was honored to bake my food as requested, not well done!
Prices seem to be rising. Cost me almost $35 for a medium pizza, a half pound of boneless wings and 2 drinks. A few months ago ,... the same thing cost me only $23. (We always get the same thing) And the boneless wings were totally drowned in BBQ sauce,instead of them being tossed in the BBQ, it looked like they just poured it over them. Which left them extremely sloppy and alot of BBQ sauce in the container. What a waste of product. Read more
The cashier lied to me straight to my face. I asked for a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. Left side was bacon, and the right side was chicken... and jalapeño. (I have a coworker who can?t eat pork due to health reasons). They put bacon on the entire pizza which I saw withmy own two eyes without walking out of the store. I also told him to look at the pizza but they tried to deny it EVEN WITH THEPROOF IN THEIR FACE. I grabbed bacon off of the side of the pizza that the chicken and jalapeño was suppose to be on becausethey were just lying to my face and being very disrespectful and would not take accountability for their mistake. They said ?ohmaybe only 2 or 3 pieces of bacon got on that side? but the entire pizza was covered in bacon and I even showed it to him andpicked pieces off of it for them to see . Very confusing place. I came inside to ask about the price of a small pepperoni pizza and was told $11.38 so I called later that... day and was told $16 .59 for the same item. Perhaps $5 for calling idk so decided to come in and order it to avoid the fee andpaid $10.33. It took 50 minutes to make order. I wouldn't come here. It was way better a few years ago. Read more
They stop putting sauce on their pizza.. even if your ask for extra extra sauce.. its still dry af... if you like dry pizza this... is the place but if you want something saucy this isn't it.. use to love this place. Show me the sauce.. or better yet extraextra sauce.. can't even get my money back Read more
I called my order in at 10:20 pm. I was told that my pizza would be done at 10:40 pm. I received a phone call at 10:41 pm and... stated that I was on the way. I arrived at the restaurant by 10:55 pm. As I?m walking in i wasn?t greeted. The guy behind theregister seemed rather irritated and asked was I pick up. I stated yes and he responded by saying can you hurry up and pay so wecan close... ???????? The way I wanted to retaliate would?ve gotten me a label slapped on my head. The business woman in me toldhim that his response to me was super unprofessional and being a small business owner closing time is at 11:00 pm. You don?trush your guest no matter. The hand gestures was the icing on the cake. His colleague then tried to tell me that they wereclosing and needed to count the register. Okay me as a paying customer should never feel rushed. Any establishment I?ve everworked at we never rushed our guests. If closing time is 11:00 pm expect to leave at 11:30. They were out of this establishmentby 11:09 pm and was chit chatting and smoked a cigarette before leaving. The only reason I didn?t give them a one star isbecause I enjoy Ledo?s Pizza and I know how a one star can impact a business. Being a small business owner and being an employeefor other establishment this was unacceptable. The way these establishments in Maryland treat their paying customers is out ofthis world. We have to demand better. I spent $22.00 on a pizza don?t make me regret it. I hope you all improve your customerservice at this location. If not I guess I will have to continue to bring my hard earned dollar to Virginia. Read more
Great pizza but terrible customer service. The guy on the phone has a horrible attitude.
